Friendly staff on arrival, they were happy to hold our bags for us on the day of departure. Wifi was ok, but not that strong. Had a problem with our bathroom door handle, we reported it reception and it was fixed the following day. A variety of English tv channels available. A vending machine with basic essentials is in reception.... More

Among 3-starred hotels in Amsterdam, this is maybe one of the best. Clean, good location, 30 mins on foot from the center but also well served from public transportation. There are also some places where to eat and a market. Two very close coffeashops

This is a nice hotel in a great location, close to lots of restaurants and a couple of parks and nearby the Albert Cypt market. The reception was very nicely done up and the receptionists very friendly and helpful. The en suite bathroom seemed very modern and the room had a television, kettle and a safe in it. I found... The hotel is more like a youth hostel but the service is excellent. The staff went out of their way to assist us and it because of them our three day adventure was a great success. The rooms are clean and the restaraunt serves a bbuffet style breakfast where the cook is always good for a start your day laugh.... More

As the author of an upcoming travel book I came to review this so-deemed decent three star in De Pijp. I walked quickly out after being insulted left right and center: 1. My email was sent to spam, says receptionist, because I used the words "interesting" and "unique" as part of my interest of visiting this hotel. Bad sign. 2.... More

We stayed at Hotel Atlantis for 3 nights. Our room was on the second floor and we had a large balcony (unfortunately we didn't get much use out of it as it was quite rainy). The room, and certainly the balcony, could have done with some TLC; the paint looked tired, the carpet was stained and the balcony was quite... More

Just returned from a 3night stay here. Nothing bad to report at all. A basic room for a reasonable price. Beds very comfy. Clean enough (a few marks on the carpet but nothing that bothered us too much). The cups provided with the tea/coffee are paper. We would prefer proper cups. So we never used those facilities. Only had dealings... More

This hotel offers decent rooms and is located not too far from the famous Albert Cuijp street market and within easy reach of the city center. Rooms tend to come in different sizes it seems, but our room was nice enough considering the price.

Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
