We stayed for one night, hotel has a lift, room was ok, not so big, staff nice and kind. Location of the hotel is great, is very near metro station and it feels safe. There are a lot of places around hotel where you can buy food.

My couple and I staid three nigths at atlantis hotel. At first, it seemed too much easy to arriva from the centraal station to it by train. After that, the employee was really fun and polite. We had a room at tje fourth floor. Even it was a little bit small (not weird watching the size of houses in Amsterdam)... More

Spent 3 nights there with my hubby, room was good (not too spacious tho) but was alright for us, bed was comfy too, shower cabin good size and clean. Easy access to get to the center in 10 minutes with tram (number 4 or 3, both stopping almost front of the hotel) Staff were very friendly and helpful. We paid... More

This is a fantastic hotel. Our room was lovely - we ended up with a free room upgrade to a room with a balcony! The room was clean and the beds extremely comfortable. The hotel is a short tram ride away from the city center and train stations. Staff extremely helpful and they speak fantastic English. The hotel has a... More

Ordinary rooms are compact, but with everything but a working phone to the outside. The beds were extremely comfortable and sound insulation very good, even from the traffic outside. The only real concern was the spiral staircase escape route, but you always hope not to have to use it! Certainly the staff on duty were always very helpful, friendly and... More

Positives: Hotel Atlantis was clean, beds were comfortable, and the black-and-red bathrooms were fun & chic. Also, it's near the Amstel river and many nice shops & restaurants. It's a pleasant 15-minute walk to the big museums. Less wonderful: the place is a bit shabby, as is the immediate block that it occupies. The rooms are small - as is... More

very nice room in a decent rate. Best part is that the hotel is situated in the center of the city just in front of major tram stop that can take you anywhere. Also very good places to eat nearby. Also there is a nice place called Amstel and its station that you connect to any where in Europe. Station... More

We stayed in the deluxe room which doesn't seem to have a picture in the photos on tripadvisor . The room was nice enough, spacious enough, clean bathroom (always a plus). The hotel is about 7 mins on the Tram (around the corner from hotel) to the central dam square. Location was nice, beside the park, cafes, supermarket. The room... More

It was all a city break should be, just a little further out than made out on the website. Still close enough to enjoy. Very clean didn't opt for the breakfast but shops and breakfast available a walk away.

I travel all over the world and mostly in Europe and I have never stayed in such a small room for the price I paid. I paid 480 Euro for 3 nights and I could touch the walls when I raised my arms. The staff was very unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked if there where rooms with better mattresses and... More

Staying in De Pijp

Neighborhood Profile
De Pijp
Bustling Albert Cuypstraat serves as the main drag through De Pijp and the location for Albert Cuyp Market, the largest and most famous of Amsterdam’s many outdoor markets. Beyond this sometimes-frantic thoroughfare, tiny lanes beckon urban explorers in search of the latest trends and hidden gems. Nearly half the residents living in De Pijp are foreigners and a good number of them are students. Here you'll find a multitude of ethnic restaurants, great cafes and bars, and a brilliant array of locally owned shops, all catering to a broad range of budgets and tastes.
