The Park View Hotel honors its name since the hotel overlooks the Volderpark and it is just some blocks away of the Museum Square where the Rijks and van Gogh Museums are located. Also is very close to one of the main shop streets, a concert hall and cinemas. The Hotel is very quiet, safe, offer the possibility to rent... More

I stayed here for one night after getting a last minute super deal on Booking.com. For the $, I found it to be a great value. Tiny room, but super clean and efficient. Loved the neighborhood - quiet, residential just a block from amazing shopping and museums. The rooms are not so sound proof and the bathroom floor gets soaked... More

Great location, just beside Vondelpark and very close to the museumplein. Close to the tram stops and supermarket. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel offers free wifi that worked just fine. There are just two small problems. There was no curtain or door on the shower and the water went all... More

This is hotel is near the major museums and it's a nice part of Amsterdam to stay if you want to be near the centre but not in the centre. I had a third floor room which had good views, plenty of light and plenty of space. The only thing I didn't like was that breakfast was served from 08:00.... More

This is a small hotel in a lovely area of Amsterdam. It was great being beside Vondelpark for walks. Staff were efficient and friendly. Public transport (trams) are a short walk away. There is a supermarket within walking distance and also close to museums e.g. Van Gough. We enjoyed staying outside the city centre. We ate out and didnt use... More

Ordinary small hotel near the Vondelpark, of which there are no views from the ground or second floor. Rooms described as deluxe seemed standard. breakfast seemed expensive, so we went out. not one to return to.

Stayed 2 nights with Madame Fastand. It's 2 minutes from a tram stop and the lovely Vondelpark. Also very handy for the Concertgebouw which was the purpose of our visit. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was a bit on the small size but we don't need a tennis court. Decor is modern and sharp and... More

Staying at several different hotels at Amsterdam, I think this one was one of the best hotels. The hotel is a no frills place (don't expect a huge lobby) that has everything you need:location (two minutes from Vondelpark in a veru quiet neighborhood), great staff, quiet and relatively big rooms (for Europe). One of the best things about the hotel... More

If you are visiting Amsterdam to visit the Rijks Museum or the Van Gogh Museum you could not do better than this hotel. It's in the Museum Quarter, so a little out of the centre of Amsterdam, but still easily accessible by tram or on foot. Our room on the second floor was comfortable and spacious and looked out over... More

This is a very nice hotel close to the city center of Amsterdam in a calm and lovely neighbourhood. It is conveniently located and can be easily reached by public transport (tram no. 2 and 5). The staff was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. I got a room on the second floor that had park view. The room itself was... More
