Our room was quite small and next to an alley way - there were coffee shops on bith sides of the street next to our hotel. The spot was great as we were very close to Central Station and we had to get to Schiphol the next morning. It was a bit noisy. Friendly staff.

First it's a hostel, not a hotel. Shared bathrooms. Showers are not on every floor. Location is fantastic. But the room with toilet is not large enough for anyone taller than 5'10" to sit down on. Desk staff not very nice. Also claims free wifi but doesn't work for anyone with an iPhone. Also no elevator. 4 floor walk up... More

We went for three days, on the first day we arrived and greeted by a lovely lady. We were able to leave out bags in a secure location welts we look around the city till our room was ready. When we got to the room to was cosy, the bed were soft and had a TV. Had a good stay,... More

This hotel is only 5 min walk from Amsterdam Central and very easy to get around. There are many budget hotels in Red Light area but this hotel isn't, in case you worried about it. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. My friend and I stayed in a small basic room with separate shower but the price was very... More

I stayed in a private room, which was well provided; comfy bed, tv, basin. The steep windy staircase was a challenge with my large suitcase but the staff were good about it and upgraded my room for free to one of the lower floors. The bathroom on my level was out if order which was inconvenient.

I would only recommend this hotel if you don't mind stairs! (Unless on the 1st or 2nd floor). hotel was clean, rooms cleaned everyday, staff were polite and let us keep bags stored until our flight home.

Location is ideal. The room was tiny and i mean tiny, small double bed and we could barely get out of it at one side, the other side was against the wall. it was clean , and the shared toilets were kept clean. however I was woke in the middle of the night to screaming and banging next door and... My wife and I stayed here for four nights. The location was excellent; out of but close to the central city. Nice staff with good room. We had a good breakfast included, but didn't realise for a couple of days (wasn't mentioned at check in). We checked in early for free as well. Would definitely stay again.

This place is great. I've always had a decent sized room, complete with sink, shower and bin. The laundry is done daily and the positioning is amazing. Yes, it has "Amsterdam stairs", so if you're disabled then it'll be a bit tricky. I'd stay here every time if it wasn't booked up so much!
