I've been there for a pair of days. Hotel is close to train station and central area, then you can arrive walking with your luggage and come and go without public transport. I stayed in a twin room and it was small but ok anyway. Bathroom was small too, but everything worked fine. Staff is friendly and helpful. A negative... More

I've been there for the weekend with friends. The Quentin is 5 minutes walking from the train station and 10 by Dam Square. The room are very small with no bathroom (apart from the triple room) all with a little sink (which in one of the room was clogged). The staff was very friendly and helpful. Maybe the place is... Stayed here for 3 nights as 2 friends interrailing. Given that most accommodation in Amsterdam is pretty expensive, we felt this place was okay value for money. The room was pretty basic but beds were decent. No air con but the road was too noisy to leave the window at night. Even with the window shut could often hear people... More

This hotel is definitely in need of room updates. We stayed on the main floor. Immediately upon opening the room door we had to climb a flight of stairs to our room. The room had two twin sized beds. The bathroom was the size of broom closet with a sink, toilet, and shower. The shower was merely a shower curtain... More

We stayed in a double room with shared bathroom facilities and were happy with the cleanliness of the showers and toilet. In the room we had a TV - which was a bonus - however, unfortunately the fan didn't work. We found that having a mirror and sink in the room was also beneficial. Was pleased with the location of... This is a lovely looking hotel from the outside. Nice frontage, and even nicer lobby! The Dutch girl with brown hair on reception is lovely. However the Australian is a bit of a Rottweiler. Not sure how she still has a job by the way she treats customers. So the hotel looks lovely from the outside, however it stops once... More

There was no air-conditioning so we had to leave the window open and so it made it noisy in the room especially at night. The stairs are really steep and small so it can be quite scary going up and down. Good location, free WiFi and rooms were larger than that shown at booking.

Stayed here 18th July, total of 10 of us for the weekend so we had 3 rooms spread over three floors. The basement room was grim with 4 guys crammed into a dorm type room with a bathroom but no hanging space or window, hot and humid. My room 211and was fine with a bathroom and two large windows over... More

We stayed in a twin bed room on the 4th floor, which was clean and basic, just a fair few stairs to tackle with our backpacks on! Australian lady on reception was lovely and very helpful. The bike hire was cheap and convenient and everywhere was within walking distance, very close to the train station, would recommend if you're on... More

I can honestly say, this is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in, anywhere. The hotel was booked as part of a group booking for a stag do and some of us stayed for 2 nights and some for three. The cost for the two night (3 in a basement room) was E358 yet those staying for three night... More

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
