This is a hostel, first and foremost. You get a brilliant location and a place for your head for not much money. If that's what you want, that's pretty much what you get. I've stayed in a fair few hostels in my time and this is no different. In fact, the fact we got a fridge and a TV was... More

Spent the night there, It was absolutely minging. All 3 of us have woken up with bites all over us. I have over 100! There was no one on site to... More

For my money I paid, over 100 euros, I learned a valuable lesson: Booking.com is full of false reviews. 8.6 was the "verified" user review score on that formerly mentioned website. Should've looked on TA to get the truth. S/o and I showed up to a locked hotel with no one at reception. I called a number and was informed... More

Squashed bugs on the walls, pubic hairs in the bed, dirty sheets, and looked like it hadn't been cleaned or hoovered for weeks. Instantly had a break down when I seen how disgusting the room was. I have stayed in very budget places and all I ever expect is a clean room, this place was truly vile. Its great for... More

I and my friend came to Amsterdam in late April and stayed at Waterfront hotel for one night. Generally we think that it's a good choice for us for below reasons: - Good price: We're from Asia. Everything in Europe is expensive for us, and hotel cost is not an exception. This hotel fee is reasonable (~75 euro/night/room/2pax). - Very... More

AVERAGE if you want to just use it as a pit stop, POOOOR if you spend time in your room relaxing, great location, must like to walk, suited for young, "shops" close by are for young adults, poor décor, poor toilet cleanliness, bathroom needed to be cleaned, but receptionist helpful, easy to find, 15-20 min walk to Amsterdam train station,... Even though it was not allowed to smoke inside the rooms, people smoked every night and it was very noisy. Rooms in 2nd and 3rd floor do not have wifii connection. Our room was very small. It was very hard to move around. Best part was the location as it is very close to main attractions but l wouldn't stay... More

After having read all the negative references to this hotel I was getting ready for the worst. But things turned out to be not that bad. First of all it is situated in the very centre of Amsterdam so you can save on transport and the rooms are very cheap for this expensive city. The personnel is very friendly. The... More

I asked about the stairs when I booked because I have a problem with my knees, The man who replied sent me a picture of the stairs, wow, what a photographer. He made them look almost normal. But, normal they were not. They were narrow in width and depth and so very steep as well as being semi-spiral. Getting out... More

We made the reservation on Booking.com in March, after looking at various hotels... We decided on this one because of location and price! However, the room wasn't quite like the pictures on the website. Once we had made the reservation, our card was charged (on the website, we were informed that no money would be taken until we arrived), the... More
