I took the train to Amsterdam from Paris to fly back to the U.S. the next morning. The hotel was very convenient from Central Station on their light rail system, and then only a 25 minute bus ride to airport next morning. I arrived about 10 a.m., and they let me store my luggage in their downstairs lockers until later... More

I was not used to these hostels , but I have to say this is very good value and especially in Amsterdam where the hotels can be very expensive. We were a group of 6 people and spent 3 nights there in a 6 beds room for about 30€ per night and per person. This is very simple and there's... More

The Stayokay hostel is a big hostel nearby at the Vondelpark. Vondelpark is one of the parks in Amsterdam city, it's frequented by families, runners and elderly people. The hostel has about five hundread bed accomodations, those are distributed in two buildings, linked by a glass tunnel. The temperature in the tunnel is colder than the building and the temperature... More

Nice vibe, neat rooms, clean toilets and a bar just to the side. Will def stay there again! Not sure if they offered towels though, we didnt ask, but something just to bear in mind! Ideal location too, a few mins away from Hardrock cafe and the Bulldog.

It was extremely expensive (40 Euro) and cleanliness was very limited in the rooms. The idea of having a wash basin in the room is pretty annoying as people sleeping the room are disturbed when others are using it. I was also tricked into getting the hostel card. I don't think I will be using it anytime in the future.... More

Very clean, only problem elevator was out in building A where kitchen/breakfast was served,; had 4 flights to walk up, when asked desk people about the elevator all they would do was smirk, so I had the feeling it was an on-going problem, no ADA concerns there. Bathrooms are in rooms, comfortable otherwise. In one of the most exclusive areas... More

The location is just brilliant - a ten minute walk from Leidse Square on one side and the Rijksmuseum on the other. The place was very clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful despite being very unobtrusive, and the whole place had a very positive vibe to it.

Better quality beds/food/service than in most hotels I've stayed - very organised & friendly place. Bedding is fresh, crisp, folded & sealed in cellophane on each mattress. Showers are clean with hot water. Was a bit worried about room sharing but there's some kind of tacit respect among sharers - staff clearly have good strategy when grouping individuals. Roomy breakfast... More

this was my first time in amsterdam and im used to staying in 4 plus star hotels abroad so i was a bit skeptical, but i was pleasantly surprised. the location was a bit far away from the main town but only a 15 min walk or quick tram ride. Tram journey to the station however, but also located near... More

Had a great stay here, the breakfast was good, and the rooms were nice. A very friendly atmosphere and the park right next door is beyond beautiful. My friend claimed he could stay there all day just lounging - super relaxing! They give you fresh sheets and everything is clean. I would def stay here again.
