If you like spacious all-comfort hotels, this one is not for you! The room I was given was just a little larger than a shoe box. Nevertheless it was cozy and quite and with a functional bathroom. The reception and the breakfast room are also tiny but fancifully decorated and the breakfast buffet offered a limited but fresh selection of... More

Great location for the Amsterdam RAI Exhibition Center and, for those on a holiday break, also near to the museums and center of town. It is also in a quiet street making it small oasis in the middle of town. The staff is very helpful and ready to help. This makes for a very pleasant stay. The rooms are small, particularly... More

This is a lovely small hotel not far from Van Gogh and Rijks museums (museum area all in all). The lobby is cozy and the receptionists were always friendly and helpful. Our room was quite small - the bed took up most of the space, but it was comfortable, and the wardrobe size was ok. Also in the room you... More

We stayed here for 5 days last week and really enjoyed the experience. We arrived very early and the hotel made a great effort to get our room early so we could check in early and after dropping our bags and grabbing breakfast the room was clean and ready for us. The rooms are small but have everything you need... More

It was our second stay at NL-Hotel Museumplein and we even don't think of changing the property in Amsterdam when coming to tho city. It bends you from the very beginning when you step out of taxi at toylike Frans van Mierisstrat street, have a chat with a guy at front desk who recalls that you were staying there already... More

Location is perfect, only a few blocks from the Koncertgebouw and major museums. Tram stops for 5 and 24 are nearby, so central station and Dam Square are very accessible. Not only is the location ideal, but the 18-room hotel is clean, bright, and comfortable with whimsical decor, A/C, and some bathtubs. Spaces are tight, but well-fitted. Still, tall people... More

Great little hotel for those wanting to stay in a quieter, more residential part of Amsterdam. Whilst our room was a little small, the staff are lovely and attentive and the breakfast included was very good. Easy walk to the Museumplein area and public transport. The one thing to be mindful of is that the shower is simply a corner... More

While Amsterdam's inner canals are an obvious draw card for tourists, this lovely little hotel gives a more authentic perspective of life in Amsterdam, without sacrificing creature comforts. This location has a real neighbourly feel, and is still within walking distance to Museumplein, Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, and De Pijp. You only need to walk along the peaceful streets with... We booked a comfort room. Room had been tastefully renovated. The room was quite tight for two people, but we managed to get our luggage and ourselves in there! There was a cupboard for storage and a bar fridge. The bathroom was small, which was fine, however, the shower did not have a screen or curtain on one side so... More

My wife and I stayed here in advance of our relocation to Amsterdam. When we move we hope to live in either Jordaan or De Pijp, both of which are little more than a short walk or tram ride from here. The city centre is also only 10 minutes by tram, making this quiet street a perfect base for any... More
