The area is great- a bit far from city centre, but the metro is nearby and cheap (16euros for 3 days). Nice that it has a tv in the lobby with a huge DVD collection. Rooms were clean, small lockers for the important stuff. Plenty of showers and toilets for all the females there. The people who run the place... More

If you want a safe quiet place to rest after the craziness of Amsterdam then this is perfect for you! Really quiet calm atmosphere, very clean with great bathroom and kitchen facilities. The staff were hugely helpful too by posting the video camera if left behind! If only there was air con in the bedrooms!

I stayed at Hostelle for 3 nights in a 8-bed dorm. After the first night I already assumed to have bedbugs which proved true after the second. I could then check into another room. The friendly staff was helpful in this situation but the hostel seriously has to fix this issue since a comment from May 14 already mentions the... More

Dear guest, Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you had any inconvenience. We at Hostelle are trying to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Bedbugs are transported by travelers and as soon as we notice the problem we let the room be treated professionally. Unfortunately during high season with so many travelers sometimes it occurs again.... More

This is a really great hostel!! It was actually the first one I stayed in ever but It was such a great experience. I like the location because it's easy to walk to the hostel from the metro station(something I was worried about but it wasn't a problem). There are also a ton of restaurants nearby and a Lidl supermarket... More

I'm surprised by how well I slept in this hostel. In most of the hostels that I've stayed in, I've always had a problem with noise, but my roommates were so respectful and didn't make any noise. I loved how the staff offered free marshmallows to guests. The showers were perfect and the lockers were perfect. I had everything that... More

I stayed here with a friend during a five day stint in Amsterdam, and Hostelle was perfect! We stayed in a private room right down the end of the hallway (all on 1 level), which was lovely and quiet and provided us with our own fridge and private bathroom. Everything was very clean, and the staff were very attentive and... More

Being my first ever hostel this was a great! Although slightly out of town, the connections were great and i felt safe in the area. The Lidl 30 seconds away was brilliantly useful. Wifi was great and the facilities were too. I definitely recommend it!

It is true that this hostel is about twenty minutes from the city by train, but the station is five minutes walk away and with a week train pass, it's no big deal, especially when you take into consideration how NICE this place is... Everything was clean, the beds were fresh and comfortable, people were quiet and there was a... More

I stayed here with a few friends during King's Day this year and I had a great experience. The staff was very helpful in checking in, giving directions, and using the public transportation. Also, the hostel was very welcoming and comfortable. There was a movie night with free popcorn and snacks and the rooms were pretty good for hostel standards.... More

Although slightly further out of town, Hostelle was really easy to get to on the metro, only about 10-15 minutes from Centraal Station. It was a very clean and well decorated place and had a nice community atmosphere being all girls! There are shared showers and toilets, both of which are spacious and clean with several cubicles in each. Towels... More
