After reading some pretty bad reviews of the place the taughts of staying here was terrible. However on arrival we wer met with friendly staff. Our rooms wer clean and basic, bunk beds toilet and a shower it had all the essentials we needed. Location is ideal literally 2mins to central station. Plenty of bars cafe etc at the door.... More

It was very functional, reception was clean and efficient and the people were really nice, They also spoke great english which was real bonus. we were in a triple room so... More

This was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was dirty with cracks on the walls and ceiling. There were dead bugs smeared on the walls. There is no elevator and the stairs were narrow and unstable and I had to carry my luggage up 3 flights through tiny broken stairs - staff would not... More

I just stayed for one night but I found it very nice. Not much noise the staff were friendly and the shower was perfect nice and powerful. Lovely location right near train station and a stones throw from Dam square. Slightly pricey but I think that's because of New Years.

Price is reasonable in the heart of city... As u know u wont get that kind of price in centre... Couple minute from train station and the hotel is easy access everywhere in a minute walk around... But dont expect much as u get what u are paying for...

We booked for 1 room sleep six persons for 2 nights, we find the room too small and doesn't have space to put our languages except under the bed. Difficult move about for six due to the tiny room. There is no ladder to climb up the double decker beds as Asian we are short compared to Europeans. We consider... More

Me, my boyfriend, my auntie and her boyfriend all stayed here for 2 nights in room 215 and it was great! The location is absolutely brilliant and the price we paid was so cheap considering where we were! The room was very basic a bunk bed and two singles which were actually very comfy. The reception staff were very friendly... More

Staying in Centrum

Neighborhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
