Firstly it's not central and secondly it's not cheap, so please do bear that in mind before booking it for holiday purpose. Saying that, the hotel is quite unique and I loved my room 245. I think it was one of the best rooms! The food was good, but like any other European city vegetarian options are less (only couple... More

We stayed here from the 4th of February for 3 nights. On arrival there was a lot of renovation work going on which doesn't make the hotel look the greatest, but we were given two free drinks tokens as we were checking in. The inside of the hotel is great a mixture of a gothic building and modern decor. The... More

Me & my partner recently visited Amsterdam for a few days. We were really happy when we got inside the hotel, there are extensions being added on so the outside isn't perfect but don't let that put you off once you step in its gorgeous. Plus they offer you a free drink to apologise for the building works. The room... More

This hotel was one of the most pleasurable stays I've ever had, the staff are friendly and the areas are a quiet break from the busy city. It is almost impossible to list all the good points of this hotel so I'll just state a few that other people may have not mentioned. Firstly, we was given a room with... More

A mix of an old XIX th Century Catholic building, and a fully designed decorum Worth discovering, but a little bit far away from the city Centrum, (twenty minutes walk). The hotel was currently under renovation, therefore we could not see how it would look like in the coming month.

Stayed at the Hotel Arena in January '16 on a short break with my boyfriend. We were initially put off by the distance to the centre, it's a half an hour walk, however the hotel is in good walking distance of two main tramlines so the distance was not an issue for us. The hotel is undergoing construction but this... More

We needed a room for just one night. After checking in: 1. the first room smelled extremely bad! There had been smoked a lot in this room. 2. we went back and got offered an other room. We received a drink because on the house. 3. the second room was really small.... and dirty... flocks of dust everywhere. You can... More

This hotel was visually stunning, with a unique history to boot. The rooms were VERY spacious, with an upstairs loft and beautiful shower/bathroom. While the hotel was under renovation when we visited, we loved the intimate restaurant and sophisticated feel. The staff's recommendations were on point (as well as super friendly). Definitely a sexy spot for couples!

Absolutely stunning hotel, fabulous very friendly and helpful staff and gorgeous food, what more could you ask for! The hotel is a little out of town but it was the perfect location for us and it's a very pretty walk into town from the hotel. We had a perfect weekends stay and I would definitely stay here again!

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in January! The hotel is lovely, very gothic feel, it's extremely clean and and the staff are very friendly and helpful! Our room was upgraded to a suite which was lovely, the bed was huge and comfortable and the bathroom was perfect! There are building works at the moment but they didn't... More
