I am a cat lover so thought a trip to Kattenkabinet was a must however I think the entrance fee is expensive for the small exhibition and I only stayed for about 20 minutes. The interior of the building is beautiful which is an added bonus but I would only recommend a visit to people really interested in cat art!

I loved this museum. I think my husband who is not an absolute cat freak, also loved this museum which boasts of even having a Rembrandt and a mummified cat. I think the art work changes from time to time as I did not see some of the art in the pictures posted here. It is relativity small, but there... More

The cat museum was interesting....if you are a crazy cat lady. We were there for 15 minutes and not really sure it was worth the price of the tickets. However, we did find a friendly kitty sitting in the window of the gift shop who was very amenable to pets and scratching - so that was somewhat worth the trip!

If, like my boyfriend, you are a crazy cat person or you're into art, like myself, then this museum is an absolute must. It's a great little collection and a fantastic opportunity to see inside a lovely canal house. We felt the entrance fee was very reasonable and spent a fair bit of time in there. I don't think we... I was pleasantly surprised at how good this museum was. It is a must for cat lovers as if you don't like cats or are indifferent, it probably isn't for you. The best part was the real cat who just wanted to be loved.

My wife is a cat lover I am ok with them we have two at home. This was a bit too pricey for what it was nothing special to see unless you are really into strange cat art. BTW don't know why here on TripAdvisor it is listed as a hotel it is a museum.

We started the day at van gough Museum with a wild 2 year old which didn't mix well so to find this gem was great. We had no one following us which I liked the freedom to explore and 2 year old loved all cat pictures, she could run around be herself . Even Leon the cat wasn't bothered by... More

This was a fun, unexpected stop. It doesn't have that clean museum feel to it. There were many large pieces on the floor, covering each other. The walls were very full in some places and it was very dimly lit. But it was none the less exciting when the live cats were walking around the cat art. Very interesting to... More

Lots of odd cat related pictures in a really cool old canal house. There's also some museum cats lounging around who are quite happy to be petted! Perhaps a little overpriced for the size, but definitely fun!

Having two cats at home, we were very interested in this and had a great time looking at the weird artwork and the various cat bits and bobs. The best bit was seeing the real life cats wandering about and knocking lumps out of each other! They were very playful and enjoyed being clapped while they ripped apart the catpets... More
