In the West of Amsterdam you will find this 'learning hotel' of Hotelschool The Hague. In the general areas you are mixed with the students which gives it a nice atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and modern, the hallways to the rooms are very sterile and could use some paintings/art. It is about 10-15 minutes by bike to the centre... More

We booked two nights at the hotel. Our reservation request was responded within a few hours. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The design of the rooms is unique - each room is designed very differently. The room that was reserved for the parents was not suitable for us, so an alternative was offered without hesitation. Breakfasts were fresh and... More

This is an excellent place to stay in Amsterdam, as it is easily accessible by tram, as well as being a friendly and accommodating place where guests can really relax. There are restaurants nearby. The service is very good. We had a large and comfortable en suite room equipped with wifi, a television and coffee making facilities. As one of... More

Room was clean and neat. Design was very special and comfy bed. Breakfast was good but not a lot of varieties. Location was excellent with tram right opposite the hotel. Service was exquisite and people around that area was friendly as they all offered guidance when I walk around with my luggage.

What a beautiful hotel. My family and I loved our stay. We started with a tour with the super kind Sven Pinedo (which was made possible by Sophie Kuipers who encouraged us with her presentations about this school when she was in Curacao, where we live). There we learned and saw what the student life is like, what the student... More

Great location. 10 minutes by tramway (Line 13) to downtown (Stop at the Dam). Excellent services from the front office, restaurant, room, etc... Very friendly. The students who are working (such as internship), are doing a great job. They care about customer. Of course they are learning and sometimes it takes a bit longer time but they are doing their... Stayed in the Hilton room for 2 nights. Room was spacious. Staff at front desk were helpful, took a bit longer with students but nothing too delayed. Breakfast was good. Adequate selection. A 15min ish tram ride away from Amsterdam Centraal station but doable journey as trams are frequent. I would definately recommend this good value for money hotel to... More

We stayed at the Skotel in May on two separate occasions with great success. The rooms were large, modern, clean and comfortable. The staff were kind and accommodating. They are students so it takes a few minutes longer but the supervisors are there to make sure it you don't wait more than a couple of minutes. Breakfast was extensive and... More

Just had a great dinner with my family in the restaurant of Skotel Amsterdam. They recently implemented a new concept where you do not know what you get, you can only choose whether you receive a "standard" menu or an "adventurous" one. I am a picky eater but the wine was flowing and I wanted to break some personal boundaries... More
