This small hostel is located at Amsterdam city center, closed to Vangogh museum, respond to the minimum need to sleep and limited budget. Showers are inside and outside the room. There're a common area for smokers.

Really Good stay - Location was a dream, close to everything but in a quiet street away from the madness! Staff were amazing, nothing was too much for them... i was stupid enough to leave my watch on my bed and was on the plane before i realised id left it... Arrived home to an email asking me for an... The rooms are very clean, the bathrooms are small but also well kept and clean. The common area are also small but good enough to socialize. Very well located - walkable distance from fun things but not too close so that it becomes noisy at night. Helpful staff.

I specifically wanted to write a review on this hostel as the other reviews seem to be all over the place; some people loved it, others not so much. I would definitely recommend this hostel to other 'youth' who are in Amsterdam to chill/have a good time and want a hostel in a good location. I travelled to Amsterdam solo... More

I have stayed in better hostels with more and better services. But close to the trams and shops etc. Good enough if you are planning to stay out all day and just want a bed. Come with lockers. Toilets are tiny! Steep stairs. A wee black cat live here, cute!

Stayed two nights in a 5 bed dorm, a large locker for each. Room was really nice, two showers and two bathrooms on each floor, also really nice. Had no issues with staff, all seemed very welcoming and helpful. Card did stop working one hour before check out, leaving me locked out of my room in nothing but a towel.... More

The man at reception with the long brown hair literally could not care less. Smells of weed but. Of course. So does everywhere else. We really enjoyed our time in Amsterdam but that had nothing to do with the hostel. They DO have big lockers though.

Really cool hostel, stayed in a 4 bed private and I can't fault it, top floor so it was really quite, very clean and the room had a cool view and basically had an on suite because the toilet and massive shower where right outside the room door. Great location, very quite but right next to Leidseplein square and about... More

Not a good experience. 1. In my 8 bed dorm, there were only 7 lockers. Of these seven lockers, only 5 had a way to lock the locker. Felt very unsafe. 2. The doona covers and pillow cases are NEVER changed. This is unhygienic. 3. There was no hot water on the 2nd day I was there. Not impressed. And... More

Staying in Jordaan

Neighborhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
