Well, people who wrote here the previous comments were right, the staircase was very steep and quite challenging, there were no mats to step on in the bathroom, the reception was at the same room as the breakfast room and you only could get breakfast here. But I really liked it, the location next to Vondelpark and just 20 minutes... more

Most effecient and very friendly staff. Was there with my family and really enjoyed the great hospitality and the rooms we got were of very high standard. What we paid was a fraction of similar hotels in Amsterdam with the type of rooms we got. Definately recommend this hotel to all. more

What a complete rip off. This hotel is really conning its customers. 135 euros a night, then an extra 6% on arrival for paying by visa., which they don't tell you.
