WARNING! - This hotel is absolutely nowhere NEAR Amsterdam Central Station. It's not even close. Surly Staff whose famous words are "NOT POSSIBLE". If you like worn out rooms and moldy dirty bathrooms then you would like this place. Also the location is unsafe! more

NH Hotels seems to have a quit good idea of what guests wants. However, not all the NH's are into all the details. This one does: Nice reception, Nice room (with a BIG bed for one person, won't cost you more than just a simple bed) and a good breakfast. Only downside: don't wake me at 9AM. more

Our group of 7 stayed at this lovely hotel Oct 14-15 2005. Room, staff etc etc excellent - location on Noord (residential side of Amsterdam). I'd recommend purchasing 12E breakfast voucher night before (costs 16E otherwise). Complimentary hotel bus takes you to free 1 min. ferry crossing to Centraal Station every 15 mins.
