Hotels Clemens is a good pick for a hotel in the centre of Amsterdam, with most of the sights within walking distance. The staff are very welcoming, breakfast was very good and they even do a decent cup of coffee. But the stairs are VERY steep, and the room was very very small, we were travelling with hand luggage only... More

Want to know about Egyptian hospitality and Alexandrian humor, this is the place to be. Upon arrival, coffee and home-made pastries are offered. Breakfast is excellent. Too bad, the bed is small and there is not enough room between toilet and sink, otherwise everything is top quality! over 500 TV channels all working. Would definitely come back to this well-located... More

Good location, friendly staff. Room small but clean and with comfortable beds. Typical old Amsterdam building added to the charm but also meant some impressive steep stairs. Wifi was good and the service excellent. Breakfast ok.

Great location, about 10 mins from the train station (so were able to walk with our bags) and near all tourist attractions. The room was very small but was fine for us as we did not spend much time in the room, however in saying the room was small there was a balcony and also shared spaces had a great... More

Nice hotel. A bit steep stairs from the groundfloor up to the reception. Breakfast ok for the price. Rooms new and fine. Pretty quite. Hotel has a bike rental righte beside, so thats a plus. Short walking to the center of down. It would not recommend this hotel for people with bad knees, because of the long narrow stairs.

Beautiful hotel in a great location. Very close to the Anne Frank House and the Jordaan neighborhood. We easily walked to and from the train station as well. Staff was very friendly, breakfast was delicious. Rooms were small but that's to be expected in a prime location for an affordable price. The stairs were definitely steep so I wouldn't recommend... I booked this hotel based on reviews and its tripadvisor ranking. It lived up to all expectations and I would happily stay here again. The service in particular was exceptional. As others have said the rooms are small, but they are perfectly functional and the decor is very new and modern. The en suite was particularly nice, especially the shower!... More

We recently stayed one night in this hotel and were very pleased with the service. The continental breakfast was excellent. The staff had prepared the breakfast earlier than their usual starting time for our early check out.
