- Clemens Hotel Amsterdam

This hotel fit the bill of what we wanted - in the Centrum, easy tram ride to and from the Centraal train station, and great service. The street in front is pretty busy during the day, but quiets down late at night. The stairs were a little surprise upon opening the door to go up a few flights, but they...

The staff is perfect. The location of the hotel is good in the town and close to tram stops. Shower room including toilet space of room 9 is far too tight, and a bit faded due to length of service.
The service in this hotel was the best i ever got! Verry friendly und kindly. We had a room with 3 beds and there were still place enough! The view was into the garden to a beautiful tree und it was verry quiet! The breakfast was really good, with all things you need!! The hotel is also verry good placed...

me and my wife are now sitting at the balcony of this lovely hotel, writing our German homework. Can't wait to give our comments. The owner just came and gave us two beers for free. what a surprise! rooms are cleaning and great location like everyone has written. but the most attractive and unforgettable thing is warmhearted owner.

The hotel was close to all major attractions and the staff was very friendly. If I ever get a chance to go back to Amsterdam, this would be the only place I would ever stay. The staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. A small hotel, but it captivates the experience and is extremely...

Went out of their way to be of assistance. The fellow that manned the desk most of the time was excellent. Most importantly he did not hesitate to help getting the luggage up and down the stairs....

It was our 4th visit to amsterdam and this time we decided to go for something more like a budget hotel to see what the difference would be...and my god, that was a great move. Hotel is located between Prinsengracht and Keisengracht, both probably the most picuresque canals in the city, close to the Westerchurch which always tells you an...
