The website claims that every room comes with a WC, TV and phone. This is not true. The TV did not work, there was no phone in the room, and the telephone in the lobby had broken, we were told, "Sometime last week." We had to walk five blocks to a pay phone in the Leidseplein. It didn't appear that... more

This was by far the worst experience I've ever had, whether it be motel/hotel, guesthouse, or hostel. One of the beds was broken and unusable, the shower and bathroom were disgusting, the staff was rude, crude, and talked down to you. I booked this in the hopes to spend a night in Amsterdam before visiting a family friend in the... more

I booked this hotel for 1 night as it was the cheapest on a Booking site. I paid just 35 Euro for a single, but got a double (room 18) on arrival. I had to pay cash in advance. Their PIN machine did not work. Stairs are steep, you have to climb either 33, 49, 65 or 81 steep steps... more

Don't make the same mistake as we had! They ruined our vacation. Room service picked in our bags and stole money – 250 euro, left us with some money hoping we won't notice!! But we had, and then we went to talk with the guy on reception, which turned out as a big liar. They even admitted the theft... And... more

Not only were we suprised by how much the hostel cost for such an unclean and small place, but we also had money stolen from our suitcases and when we reported it the management suggested that we were probably stoned or drunk, neither which is true. The receptionist said it was impossible for something to be stolen since it is... more

This family run hotel stole cash from our suitcases and basically told us there was nothing we could do about it.! Booked this hotel as it was reasonably priced and in a good location near leidseplein. I knew not to expect the four seasons but ive stayed in many hotels before and this place is by far the worst ive... more

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. It's not good to write reviews as lists but otherwise this would just be a rant from beginning to end. 1. The hotel smells like a sewer, in the reception, in the halls and in the rooms. 2. The rooms are dirty, the bathrooms are dirtier. 3. The breakfast area is only... more

First things first i know were in Holland and should expext steep stairs but they were a hazard you could barely fit your whole foot on a step, we had to pay them a deposit just to use the hair dryer, the double bed was just two singles pushed together, it was non smoking with penalty charges on your credit... more

Me and Two friends stayed in a triple room this year and it was teh most traumatic experience of my life after a pleasant day of galavanting around the RLD Me and my chums decided to retire to our rooms for some backgammon, however upon entering "Sarlacks Pit" we noticed the room had a musty odour we heard screams of... more
