I have visited Amsterdam each spring for the last eight years, and always stay with my "Dutch family" at Hotel Keizershof. Although rooms in the front have a beautiful view of the canal, I prefer the quieter rooms in the back overlooking the colorful garden. There are rooms with private baths for a little more money, but if you don't... More

The reason you want to stay here is Mary, the owner, and Ernest, her son. Friendly and outgoing, one feels like family in five minutes. They know all the good places to eat in the area. Only warning, the stairs are steep but the beds are comfortable. And, by the way, Mary makes a killer omelet.

Old Amsterdam is very walkable, especially if you are staying here. It's less than a 10 min walk to the Van Gogh Museum. With all the concentric canals, you can't get lost! We stayed in the garden room on the "first" floor. As typical in the old homes, the stairs are narrow and winding. It would have been tough getting... More

We just had a fantastic stay, I really can't say enough about the place. My mom and I were traveling with my niece and nephew and felt right at home. The rooms were warm and Very clean. It was so nice to have a hot shower and a comfy bed after our days travels. We were given great suggestions for... More

If you want a family-run B&B feel, look no further. My husband and I felt like part of the family at this quaint Dutch Hotel. Full Dutch breakfast included and right in walking distance to the Rijksmuseum. Hotel Keizershof is an all-around wonderful place to stay!

My sister. niece and I stayed for five nights. The location is excellent for walking just about anywhere or for taking the tram. The de Vries family was extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfasts were excellent - try the omelette. Highly recommended.

Hotel Keizershof is a very nice hotel, a place where you feel like at home. The De Vries family feel proud to make your stay as comfortable as possible and to create a cordial atmosphere for you. The hotel is situated in a beautiful 17th century canal house on the famous Keizersgracht. It is hard to find a comparable place... More

Felt like home was treated like a family member, lovely warm beautiful people. Very friendly polite and warm reception. Stayed for 2 nights recommend this place to all my friends! There is a lawyers office within the hotel, all the rooms have character and you will not be disappointed if you choose to stay here.

Perfectly situated far enough away from the noise and crowds but close enough for an easy walk to anywhere 😄 and for those who prefer to "ride", the tram is just 1/2 a block away. We had the room in the back - with a lovely view of the garden and very quiet. I don't think this (the quiet) was... More

Hotel Keisershof is located on the canal ring and walking everywhere tourist generally go is quite easy fro the hotel. Their are trams very close by as well. The hotel is really more like a very nice Bed and Breakfast. There lis no hotel desk and the family members who own the hotel are there to welcome you. Son Ernest... More
