We stayed here 7 years ago and don't regret repeating the experience. This is a tall, narrow establishment. If you travel with huge suitcases and can't handle narrow, circular stairs, this hotel is not for you. We found it to be a unique experience. Our room, the Rita Hayworth, was a good size and pleasantly decorated. Breakfast is wonderful, with... More

Moved to the Hotel Keizershof after the worst 'B&B' in our 25 years of European travel. This hotel was like heaven to us and we stayed on the top floor with a beautiful view of the rooftops of Amsterdam. Our room was en suite, very large, had a frig, a lovely bathroom and breakfast was quite good. There is a... More

My fiancé and I stayed in Hotel Keizershof in May of 2015 for 3 nights. The owners love having guests and put a lot of effort into their amazing breakfast display. Each morning we sat at the table with the other guests and the owners discussing our day plans. We received many great local recommendations from the owners. We stayed... More

First visit to Amsterdam this past April. I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Keizershof. The location could not have been better. Located between 2 tram lines that easily connect me to central station. Easy walking distance to the Rijksmuseum. Every morning I started the day with a wonderful breakfast - OMG the bread and cheeses were amazing!!!!. The real gems... More

My wife and I enjoyed a clean, quiet room and an abundant breakfast selection. Our hosts provided excellent advice for bus routes and pertinent suggestions for visiting the museums. They made us feel like part of their family. While making our reservation Mary advised us to stay an extra day in Amsterdam to experience King's Day, instead of fighting transportation... More

This is my second time to stay at the Hotel Keizershof and if possible, it was better than the first. Our room was comfortable, spotless and had an amazing view. Breakfast was delicious and Hanneke, our host, was so helpful and friendly. It felt like we were visiting family. I will add my warning to others, this is a very... More

The hotel is a charming place located near everything you would want to see in your first visit to Amsterdam. The best value in the hotel is that it feels af if you are visiting family, since you have a hearty breakfast in the lovely kitchen with the de Vries family looking out for you. We had the Rita Hayworth... More

In a city that offers the traveler every option imaginable for accommodations - this bed and breakfast doesn't disappoint - in location, cost and most of all the hosts. Located on a canal, within walking distance to antiques row, the Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh Museum, you feel the charm of Amsterdam as you enter the doorway to this lovely family's... More

Our searching for this place (in preparation for the trip) was worth the effort. We had a week here and were pleased in every way. Their hospitality is genuine, the breakfasts wonderful, the location very good, with easy access to public transportation as well as walking to museums, restaurants etc. The hotel and rooms had character, charm and the usual... Staying at the Keizershof is a fantastic experience, one you won't soon forget. Very good breakfast to start your day. A proprietress with over 50 years of experience and helpful family members makes this a great place to stay. Considering the location it is good value.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
