Quirky with cocktails! Had a lovely 2 night stay this week and it makes a great base for exploring the sights too. Staff friendly and helpful, looking after bags hours before check-in was due so by the time we got back they had been placed in our room ready :-) The bar was lovely and Thursday is cocktail night which... Throughout the whole stay at the Max Brown hotel, we were very impressed with the service we received from all the staff. The hotel staff all seemed quite young, but each and everyone one of them are a credit to the company, from their politeness and being very helpful, nothing was every to much, from just answering any questions we... Lovely hotel, in a authentic Amsterdam building so it's compact but stylish and comfortable. I absolutely love the decor, the rooms Almost felt like a cosy log cabin. My husband & I Stayed for 3 nights in Jan 2016, and I would book again if I ever revisit the city. Ideal location everything was in walking distance that we wanted.... More

Loved it here from the moment we stepped inside the door! Copper ceiling in bar. Trendy interiors with a very chic, urban feel! Friendly staff (the young ones!!) who helped us book attraction tickets on our final morning. Nice room, unfortunately not a canal view as requested but it was large (downstairs along from the bar) and comfortable. Not much... More

Perfect hotel for cold nights in Amsterdam. Warm, clean and cosy. Staff are very friendly and very helpful, the hotel is located in a quiet side of Amsterdam but yet still close to many shops/coffee shops/restaurants. Easy to find from the train station, I'd say it's only a 5 min walk. The one thing I like the most about this... More

The location is 5 minutes from central station and really near the town, with tram rides so accessible and easy to use to get anywhere you need to! The... More

A very Cosy hotel in an excellent location near central station. Right on a canal. Helpful staff. AMAZING BREAKFASTS. Comfortable rooms. Very expensive drinks from the bar. We were fortunate enough to stay on the ground floor though but that can be noisy.
