Stayed here for a couple of nights with my son. Really good location if coming in from Rotterdam Port, being just across the road from the P&O coach drop off point. The railway theme is unusual - just the thing if you are into such things. I am not, but it didn't detract from the experience. There is even a... More

I stayed in this hotel recently and regards to location it is great. Very close to the train station and about a 5 minute walk to the red light district. The room was nice and clean however, I booked a double room and was allocated a twin room. Despite checking in at 11am there was nothing the manager could do... More

Quirky hotel with lots of railway memorabilia. Beds comfortable. Rooms on the small size, but if you want a large room, you need to stay in a modern 4-star here, not in an old Amsterdam house. It is a shame that the best rooms face the station and are a bit noisy, but still a friendly well located hotel. I... More

After enjoying hotels across Italy, England, Austria, Slovenia, Bosnia and Croatia this hotel would be the poorest experience. If the room was not prepaid, we want have not stayed. The first class room was small and noisy with traffic, the double bed across the wall was soft like memory foam. My wife could not wait to get the airport shuttle... More

We spent the last week of April in this hotel. Superb location (just across the canal from the railway station), ultra-friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable and fascinating railway memorabilia everywhere you look. Oh yes, and a great breakfast too with ham, cheese and boiled eggs ! We recommend it whole-heartedly. Marian

I booked two nights for my eurotrip with my wife, I arrived at a weird hour (too early), I checked in, the hotel has 24 hours reception. the staff was super super nice, especially mr lute in the front desk, he's a wonderful and kind man, always smiling and a great giver of service. The rooms were clean and tidy,... More

We stayed several nights at this quirky little place just across the street from the Centraal train station in Amsterdam. Very convenient for arriving by train--and for taking trams throughout the city and trains to far off places. Consists of more than one building tucked into the store fronts--24 hour desk; secure; clean with modern baths and breakfast and wifi... More

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for 9 nights. We chose it because of its excellent location, right in front of Amsterdam Centraal and we intended to travel by trains a lot. The room (A301) was clean but facing as it was a major street it was quite noisy. Still it was very small to the extent that... More

I have stayed in a few bad hotels before but this is by far the worst. It would not have been so bad if the staff were not so unbelievably rude. And I mean RUDE. Everything was an effort for them and I'm honestly not that demanding. It's in a good location and although the decor was dated, it was... More

First of all we are sorry you were disappointed in our hotel, aspecially in our staff. I am sorry to say that me staff remembered you and your two lady friends very well indeed. You all stayed in room B002, a triple room. Unfortunatley we had to warn you several times during your two nights stay with us, as you... More

We just checked out of the hotel today. It was a pleasant 4 nights stayed. Plus points: - Conveniently located opposite Amsterdam Central station - minutes walk to shopping streets - nice and simple breakfast - free wifi
