I am writing this on my last night here. I will be very sad to leave. I booked the double room with private bathroom and it's basically a really lovely studio flat with a fridge and microwave combined oven. Flat screen TV, cutlery crockery, breakfast bar , a lovely balcony, 2 comfortable chairs and coffee table, a bed that has... More

I stayed at the Bicycle Hotel for a weekend city break with my girlfriend. On arrival, we were greeted by a very friendly gentleman who was very informative and made sure we were fully aware of breakfast times, door codes, wifi etc. We arrived before the allotted check in time but were able to leave our bags and head out... We arrived early in the morning from Lima and, despite the early hour, were welcomed friendly and even offered breakfast. The room was small and clean, the bed very comfortable. We did not have a private bathroom but because there is a very clean shower and a very clean toilet on every floor this did not bother.

Really enjoyed staying here. The stairs are tricky, almost vertical, but this is part of the experience in Amsterdam! Loved the friendly staff, always willing to help us out. Only a short walk to the hustle and bustle and very close to the Heineken experience! Breakys were good and it was great to hire a bike and go out into... More

The bicylce hotel is perfectly located for those wanting to explore all of Amsterdam and not only the centrally located attractions in the city centre. Its location near to public transport links and the trendy area of "de pijp" is perfect for those looking for some quite time mixed with a bit of nightlife. When arrving from the airport it... More

Stayed with husband and two young children ages 4 and 8. As others have mentioned, it is a little outside the city, but with that comes a neighborhood atmosphere. DO RENT BIKES! It is such an easy way to get around the city. Taxis are very expensive here and we didn't have the time or patience to figure out the... More

When I have booked here the web site hasn't been very clear about the payment. 7£ of difference between internet price and Hotel price! A part this, the staff is kind, room and cleanliness in the average.

Compared to other hostels in Amsterdam, this place was very reasonable. Yes it is quite far out, however if you rent bikes from there it isn't that bad. Renting the bikes was one of the best bits of out trip! Breakfast was fine, the location is very hard to find, its of a side road so we did get lost.... More

I went to Amsterdam to attend ADE and I wasn't prepared to spend a lot on accomodation. This hotel in De Pijp suited me quite well. The rooms are quite basic, the beds might not be the most comfy and many rooms have shared bathroom and toilet. The room I stayed at was on first floor (which means less steep... More
