Nice reception, clean rooms. The rooms are not so big but comforteable. Wi-fi in the rooms have not very good signal. We like the breakfast . The location is awesome, near the Rijksmuseum and Museumplein.

We stayed only one night, but received excellent service. When the desk staff learned that we had a very early flight in the morning, we were offered breakfast at 4:30 am. We awoke to fresh coffee and a hearty breakfast which started our long travel day off on the right foot. Combined with a spacious, clean, comfortable room & a... More

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. People were friendly, polite, and willing to help. They provided good suggestions to our questions. The hotel was clean and the room service was fine. The breafast was nice, the breakfast room was confortable and the attending person was always friendly. One thing I will suggest is that the cleaning person leave a... More

Very kind and efficient staff. The room was clean, large, with an access to a small garden. The location is awesome, near the Rijksmuseum and Museumplein. The breakfast was good and there's nothing else to write that we should come back to this hotel when we come back to Amsterdam !

My wife and I stayed at the hotel in April for a weekend away together. We booked the trip without realising that it was Kings Weekend in Amsterdam. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff were very helpful with the check-in process was very smooth. They explained how the weekend would be organised and gave us lots of good... More

Hotel is old but nice, cleand and has perfect location. Personnel is receptive to questions and helpfull. Breakfast variety is enought. Bathroom es modern, not old. Wify is good. Very quiet, but party is five blocks just crossing the nearby canal. Also boats trips is just four blocks. Educative sector is in the neighborhood museums and park.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Aalders, which is located close to several museums and Vodelpark. Our room was large and fit our family of four perfectly, and had a door to the garden. Hotel was clean and staff friendly. Breakfast was included in our stay as well.

As others have said, this hotel is perfectly located for visiting the Rijksmuseum, van Gough Museum and Vondel park. Its on a quiet, leafy street and close to some up-market shopping, if that's your thing. The staff were uniformly helpful and informative. The (single) room - 1a - unfortunately was tiny; possibly the smallest I have ever experienced, ever. There... More

As you can probably tell from the title of my review, I always stick with a good thing. That is how I feel about Hotel Aalders. For me,the location is perfect as I prefer a quiet residential neighborhood to a "party street". Yes, the room is small, but it is tidy, very comfortable, and quiet. I have become familiar with...
