The hotel is very personal and cosy. Very friendly staff and good location. The place was a great deal and happy to stay there again. The breakfast was OK (paid 10,50). As I had a room on to the backyard (with a very nice terrace), the place was very quiet - might be different on the frontside as a tram... More

If I could give 3.5 stars I would. Our experience was ok, but we would not stay again. We're a couple in our 30's, and have travelled quite a lot. Here goes: Big room, lots of wasted space. Two single beds pushed together, and two single, thin duvets - not to our liking. No control over heating and it got... More

This hotel is very charming and located close to VondelPark, the museum district and a tram stop. Lots of charm and the staff hauled our heavy luggage up and down the steep, narrow staircase (we were on the 3rd floor). If you have issues with stairs, you probably should avoid. Bicycles are available for rent--great to view the park (I... More

Stayed for one night in Amsterdam in early November. Whilst signing in, the friendly staff offered a welcome drink. Room was compact but had everything needed. For those travelling all alone, there is a Teddy Bear in the room, offering company :-) Although the breakfast room looked very warm and nice, I did not have breakfast, but am sure it... More

Close to Vondelpark and walking distance to the museums and Leidesplien, this is a good location to explore the city. There are several nice bars and restaurants round the area, and a tram stop on the block so getting around is easy. Room was small, but comfy and fully equipped. The beds are super comfy. The staff are exceptional, friendly... More

Hi TC, thank you very much for your feedback and glad to see that you enjoyed your stay with us. It's true, the stairs are steep, it's on the website as well, but it never harms to point this out to your fellow travellers. We have 1 room on LivingRoom level, so for guests who have trouble walking stairs this... More

Stayed here for five nights in late October with my family. Located just minutes walk from the beautiful Vondelpark, and within walking distance from most of the museums. A tip is to buy a tram card, so you can go almost anywhere easy and swift. The hotel itself, the staff, the breakfast, the rooms, everything is all you can ask... More

we booked around half the rooms in this hotel for a wedding. Rooms are relatively fair priced for Amsterdam standards. Rooms are small, clean, comfortable but nothing fancy. Perfect for tourists particularly given the location, but ammenities are sub standard for business travellers. Please note stairs are typical Amsterdam i.e. very steep and breakfast is equally typical Dutch so quite... More
