But the pillow was awfull. No complaints besides the pillow. Nice hotel, with great service. They are all very friendly at the Jupiter. Location is the best in Amsterdam. Right in the middle of this wonderful city. You will have a great adventure.

We stayed at the Jupiter for one night, and we are satisfied. It's in walking distance from the Centre, although it surely could've been closer, they had a bike rental, the rooms were good and the breakfast was nice. The staff were quite alright.

It is far from Amsterdam Central (trams are expensive) but near Museumplein area. Breakfast is filling and satisfying; plus factor is the dining area. We got a quadruple room and the room is clean and very nice. Read in this review thread about the grumpy reception staff so we did not expect much but he warmed up to us on... More

Turned up to this hotel in a group of 4 after driving from England. We booked another hotel although on arrival we were told we had no room! After a little walk around we found this little place. Reasonable price, really steep stairs which were a struggle after a long day. Can't comment for the single or double rooms but... More

We got on the train from the airport to the central train station then jumped on a tram, I found there wasn't much signage or available maps so I would recommend thinking about your route to your hotel beforehand. There was some confusion at reception about city tax, we knew we had to pay city tax but the lady at... More

I stayed here in May 2015 for a long weekend with 7 friends. I shared a room with 3 other girls, very comfy with double bed and 2 pull out beds. Nice modern bathroom, TV with English channels, free wifi that worked fine and nice touch of dressing gowns. The hotel is on a quiet street with Vondelpark, shops, restaurants... More

I chose this hotel as it was the "cheapest" one available in the city centre. For location I would recommend it - it's 4 minutes walk away from Leidseplein. However, if you are happy to catch a tram or spend 10 extra minutes walking then stay somewhere else. As other reviewers have said the reception is cold at best. My... More

My wife and I stayed from the 20-24 of April 2015. The hotel was chosen for its location and price. The service was great and the staff was friendly and courteous. (Never met the bad reception guy). The room was small but we had enough room to walk around in, as we did not live in the room but just... More

Room was small but good enough for a short stay. Decent continental breakfast included so good value. Location suited my plans with a good choice of bars, cafes and restaurants in walking distance. Had a problem with my tv and was given a generous refund without asking for one, really nice gesture.

Three day stay in Amsterdam was great Good location, value for money and a decent breakfast t Very helpful staff and good reception on arrival Like most small hotels in Amsterdam, narrow mad steep staircases so heavy suitcases pose a challenge
