We checked in around four in the afternoon and the manager / receptionist was no where to be found and the reception are was locked. felt this hotel was ok for price, room very small (Amsterdam!) safekeeping in room, room clean, shared facility with one other room ok ( I was in room6), would not describe the famous owner as rude but more of a distant nture, however found him quite pleasant, breakfast adequate, no real complaints given the price and the excellent location more
