Quality of rooms and staff are satisfactory, rooms are clean and good. But in toilets and bathrooms there aren't central heating, so it was very very cold (I was there in January, so it was very cold).. What is more, after resevations and a down payment it turned out, that the fees are much higher (hidden costs, taxes). More over,... More

I had made a reservation here for 9 people for a weekend only to find out a few days beforehand they had cancelled my booking without letting me know. When i contacted the hostel the Staff were so rude and aggressive. They made absolute no effort to accommodate me and told me our rooms had been booked out. I was... More

I stayed 4 nights in this budget hotel and I found it very cosy. Staff and receptionists are very friendly and always available to help you. Prices are good (a bit less for breakfast), but if you want to eat your own meal the hall is always free to stay. Beds are comfortable and there's no noise during the night.... More

+The best thing about this hostel is it's location. It's close to the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Vondelpark, the Heineken factory, and Leidseplein. It's a 15-20 minute walk to Dam Square, but Amsterdam is a very walkable city and at over 2 euro per tram ride, it's worth taking the walk. I only took the tram once while there. The... More

- It tends to get cold in the morning, embrace yourself when getting in the shower in the morning. The only draw back of the hotel is in fact that it has no lounge or a common room where people who stay can meet and hang out (apart the lobby at the reception). No kitchen either. Wouldn't recommend for a... More

The hotel is very good located. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, they were helpful and gave us good tips for traveling. The room were clean but they changed our sheets only once in a week staying and did not replace our towels enough. Very recommend for budget traveling.

The euphemia hotel/hostel is good value for money. I went with 8 friends in a 10 person room with bunkbeds which were very comfortable! The hotel was very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel was 10 minute walking distance from Rembrandtplein and 5 minutes from Leidseplein. So that was good as well. Only stupid thing... More

Our plane was delayed by about 45 minutes, meaning that we arrived late, at about 11.15pm, having said we'd be arriving at roughly 10pm. The receptionist gave us the key to the 10 bed dorm, in which we had reserved 6 beds. There was one bed available in the room, with people asleep in all the others. We returned downstairs... More

Very clean, comfy beds, and the owners were incredibly kind. Even front desk staff and cleaners were friendly. The location was great I walked everywhere and the Wifi was always strong. It's always scary staying at a new hostel wondering what horrors you will find but I couldn't fault this place. I'd stay again next time I'm in Amsterdam.
