When dropped of at the RHO Hotel we could not believe how close we were to Dam Square and the City. Then we came to our first hurdle. We had to struggle with our baggage up stairs to get to reception. There were a number of staff in reception but no one helped us. After checking in we found our... More

I Have Stayed 2 Nights recently in RHO Hotel and I have mixed feelings about it . The Hotel Location is great ! Everything was just a walking distance Shops, Historical buildings and the famous nightlife district . My room was on the forth floor a tiny little room with a very basic furnishing and accessories . The WIFI signal... More

There are some good things and there are some not so good ones. Pros: central location, parking available. Yes, that's all... Cons: The room was tiny. And by tiny, I mean as small as a box. Never before have we stayed in such a confined space. And there was almost no natural light. The hotel itself is a mix of... More

First and foremost, this hotel we found to very conveniently located as it's very close to everything. It's also walkable from the main train station, even with luggage. We had a bit of a mishap with checking in but once one of the clerks looked into whole situation it was resolved to my satisfaction. We paid very reasonable rates and... More

The Rho Hotel is located in the centre of Amsterdam and is ideally located if you don't mind the noise as Amsterdam people stay up very late It is a very old hotel with no air conditioning. Our room faced a alley and because of no air conditioning we opened up the window which made it very noisy. Breakfast was... More

I stayed in the Rho Hotel for my first trip to Amsterdam, myself and a few other girlfriends booked the Rho Hotel alongside our ferry booking, as the hotel was DFDS recommended. Our arrival at the hotel was warmly greeted by very friendly staff, and our room was very nice, clean, with comfortable beds and pillows, and a television, fan,... More

Have enjoyed staying at the Rho Hotel. Certainly it's not a 4 Star hotel as far as facilities go....no tea/coffee maker in room, for a double bed we have two single beds placed next to each other made up as two single beds. While not great it's not the end of the world. Other things make up for it though....free... More

My husband and I have just returned from a short break to Amsterdam and once again We stayed at the RHO. It's right behind Dam Square so it is so convenient for all the shopping, restaurants and attractions. We requested a double room rather than a twin (not always the easiest thing to have) and our room was lovely. It... More

We've stayed at the Rho many times over the last few years, with our last stay from 22nd-27th June. It is a good hotel, and reasonable value for money. The rooms are decently sized, and the buffet breakfast is fairly extensive, but there are not a lot of healthy eating options - the fruit salad, for example, is tinned, and... More

I haven't been to Amsterdam for years and it was my wife's first visit so the Rho was a bit of a gamble. The location can't be faulted, being in the corner of Dam Square and only 10 minutes walk from Central Station. The hotel has a very impressive foyer and every member of the reception staff we came into... More
