We stayed in the Roh Hotel for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. A superb central location, next to all the sights of Amsterdam, good pubs around Dam Square to sit outside which are literally a stone throw from the hotel. The breakfasts were fantastic, servicing of the rooms and showers etc was every day and ultra clean and tidy... More

This hotel does not come anywhere near 4/5 who are the people rating this? ,This hotel is tired ,it has a great lobby but needs a refurb ,the rooms have really cheap bland furniture the bathroom feels dirty although it wasn't it just felt like it due to the age of everything,no AC but a fan left in the room... We stayed here for a weekend and had a great time. The location is great - right off Dam Square, close to lots of bars (especially Cafe De Dam, a brilliant place for beer, music and people watching). There are lots of food places within steps too (especially The Chipsy King - a hole in the wall place selling amazing... More

Found this little hotel just off Dam Square. Gorgeous lobby, terrific breakfast, plain but fairly spacious room and bathroom. Very helpful folks at the desk. Tiny street with theater, cafes, great place to be for World Cup.

Amsterdam and Rho Hotel. On 01/sep/2014 we were in Amsterdam and this is our impressions of Rho hotel and surroundings. Negative things about the hotel: In room safe is in the closet, right on the floor and it is very difficult to put in or take out things from there. Have to just lie down on the floor. Refrigerator works... More

Four of us spent the Bank Holiday weekend in Amsterdam at the Rho Hotel. Situated off Dam Square the hotel is in a central location, close to the main shopping streets and landmarks such as Anne Frank's house. The hotel is fairly basic. Decor is decent, but not boutique. The bed was soft but comfortable. The bathroom wasn't the most... More

My friends and I shared a triple room (#204). It had three single beds, a wardrobe, chest, desk, and plenty of space for the three of us to store all our luggage and still move around the room freely without stepping all over each other. This is not a luxury hotel, but it is comfortable. The hotel is old, of... More

My wife and I had a long stay here at the end of August. For us, the 3 must-haves with hotels are location, free (and preferably hassle-free) wifi, and cleanliness. The Rho meets all 3 of these criteria with flying colors. The location is on a quiet street right off Dam square, thus near all the centrum sites and pretty... More

Although I've given this hotel 5 start it doesn't mean it's the most luxurious hotel in Amsterdam...it most definitely is not! It is however, an excellent hotel for the money. The location could not be beaten, right off Dam Square in the centre of the city and an easy walk from the central station. There are plenty of great food... More

We booked this hotel for the location, and that is really all you are paying for. The hotel itself is a little tired and in need of renovation. It is noisy, but then again you are right in the heart of one of the biggest party cities in the world, so I don't think you should expect peace and quiet!!... More
