I have little to add to what many others have said. Great location for museum goers, also near Leidesplein for food options and to bus to airport. Staff is always helpful, rooms are comfortable. Highly recommended.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left, we were completely made to feel at home. Can only describe the gentleman which greeted us and checked us in, as a perfect advertisement for hotel fita. Nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were lovely and clean and hotel situated perfect for museum quarter and also to tram lines for... More

An excellent hotel! The location is perfectly situated within the museum district, a quiet area and very easy walking distance from the main canal attractions. Roel and his team were superb hosts, the rooms were well decorated and breakfast was great! Their pancakes were a hit! It was a pleasure bringing my tour group to Hotel Fita. The guests on... More

Hotel Fita is a great place to stay in Amsterdam. The rooms are large, by European standards, and quite comfortable. The hotel is on a side street and our room bordered on a courtyard so it was quiet. The trolley stops just around the corner and provides quick access to many museums, the flower market, and many other tourist attractions.... More

Loved my 3 night stay here, starting with my greeting (too early to check in), and superb help from staff on how to get around and the major sights in Amsterdam. Couldn't have been more pleasant. Returning at 5 p.m my bag was in my room, and staff gave me the highlights of the room and hotel. Hotel Fita is... More

A convenient location, nice breakfast and a friendly oustanding staff. Reasonably priced and a location near the Van Gogh and Reij Museums on a pretty street. The hote staff was OUTSTANDING from the time of my first email requesting information to our checkout. I had a problem getting our boarding passes anf the owner stepped in, called the airline and... Stayed here 4 nights at the beginning of our European holiday. Many pluses. Friendly helpful staff who took a real interest in our welfare. Top location quiet yet handy for galleries and museums. Room quiet and comfortable. Standard breakfast but enhanced by Dutch pancakes and mums fruit preserve. However some opportunities for improvement. Coffee/tea supply in room should be refreshed... Lovely hotel with an elevator! The staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to please everyone. Breakfast was complete with eggs, pastries, meats, delicious coffee, and out-of-this-world crepes. Rooms are small, but that's typical Amsterdam and no problem if you're there for a week or less. The 3 major museums are super close, as are... More

Fita Hotel is a boutique hotel on a relatively quiet street populated with other boutique hotels and private residences just a block away from Museumplein, Amsterdam's cultural hearth. It's family owned and operated, and the owners are friendly, gracious, accommodating hosts. The rooms aren't particularly spacious, but they're comfortable and cozy. The private baths have most of the amenities you... More
