We had a very pleasant stay at the Hotel Fita. We stayed in Room 24, which I think is one of the bigger rooms in the hotel. It was definitely much bigger than the room we had in Paris. The room was very clean and well kept, and while the decor was nothing special, it was fine for our purposes.... More

We recently spent 5 nights at the Hotel Fita while in Amsterdam. The location was good, one block from the Van Gogh Museum. Our rate included free museum passes and free telephone calls to the US. The breakfasts were very good and included eggs, bacon, breads, cheese, etc. The only drawback was our downstairs room. I would have preferred a... More

The Hotel Fita is located one block from the Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh Museum, Vondelpark, and high fashion shops (i.e. Chanel). This is a very quiet neighborhood. There is a school yard across the street that can get noisy in the morning and afternoon. We stayed in the Business Double. Very, very large room with a huge bathroom. Very tall ceilings.... More

Our room was small but very clean and quiet. Our rate included museum tickets. Hans (the owner) seemed quite gruff but this was really just an act. He was very friendly and helpful, providing restaurant advice and directions. We had to leave at 5:30 a.m. for our flight and he arranged airport transportation for us at quite a good price.... More

We couldn't have received a better welcome than we did on arrival at Hotel Fita. We were immediately provided with a map of the city and helpful advice on what to see and where to go! The hotel was very clean, the room very comfortable and the breakfasts very tasty. Hotel Fita is within 5 minutes walk of the main... More

During our 8 day stay @ the Hotel Fita,I was reminded of a well kept secret hotel in New York City. That hotel was the Washington Square Hotel. We were very pleased with the Hotel Fita's accomodations.A full breakfast was included in the price and what a filling and good start it was.Hans and Loes de Rapper are gracious hosts. They make... More

Just spent 2 nights at Hotel Fita at the tail end of a 3-week trip to France and Holland. Hotel Fita was by far the best value of our travel accommodations. The room (#26) was not by any means romantic - more like a very upscale dorm room - but it was reasonably sized and extremely clean. (Cleanliness appears to... More

My husband and I stayed for four nights in this hotel. Our room was small, but tasteful, comfortable and very clean. We were perfectly satisfied with the breakfast. The location is ideal and we walked everywhere. One word of advice - the hotel offers free museum tickets if you stay three nights and a discount on the room rate if... More

Whilst glad of this hotel over some of the others seen in Amsterdam, the hotel we encountered was somewhat different to the majority of reviews read here on tripadvisor. It was easy to get to and from the hotel and airport, the shuttle leaves you to either door and the price was very reasonable. The hotel was conveniently located, being... More
