My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in October. It has the feel of a B&B. We loved the location and the staff was very helpful as well. The only complaint I have is our bed was 2 twin beds pushed together which was not comfortable. The breakfast was a nice touch. They will do your laundry for... More

I would advise avoiding the Hotel Fita in Amsterdam. The staff there is testy at best, and downright rude at worst. They promise to do your laundry, but what they mean is that they will dump a pile of moist clothes on your bed which you must then hang up and iron yourself as they are a wrinkled mess. They... More

My husband and I stayed here four nights in Sept. Location was perfect. Room was sunny and very comfortable. Walking distance to everything. We rented bicycles nearby and rode around with the thousands of locals who use this most convenient mode of transportation. It is such a pleasant way to see the city. The hotel was a comfortable walk to... More

I stayed in this hotel for five nights at the beginning of November, with my husband. Style: a 1902 typical Dutch building. Lobby is cosy like all hotel. Seems a private hose more than an hotel. Location: literally at the corner of Van Gogh Museum, in the Museum quarter, at a walking distance from National Museum and restaurants and cafes... More

My wife and I spent three nights in Amsterdam. We had intended to stay at a "canal hotel," but all of the highly-rated ones were booked up by the time I made a reservation (about three weeks in advance of the stay). Based on TripAdvisor reviews, I then called the Hotel Fita and was successful in booking a room. The... More

We loved the location of this hotel. The room was spotless and although small, was perfect. The free telephone and laundry service was excellant and a huge perk. We enjoyed the simple breakfast. We also really enjoyed the no-smoking policy.

Just spent 3 nights at the Hotel Fita on 9/13. Had a medium size room #14 which overlook a school/side street and could walk out on the roof. Little noisy with the windows open but the ceiling fan helped to drown out street noise from people out walking around. Quiet residential area for the most part. Five minutes to the... More

Absolutely delightful boutique hotel in Amsterdam. If you don't mind being out of the hustle and bustle of the city hub this is the place. The hotel is located on a precious quaint street with lovely trees. Easy to get to from the central train station - just take the number 2 or 5 tram right outside the front of... More

I stayed at the Hotel Fita for one night (due to a long layover) in September. I was coming from the Middle East and was quite ill when I checked in. The Hotel Fita was the perfect place to lay down my head and get a good night’s sleep. The location was wonderful. The hotel was spotlessly clean and had... More

Expect clean rooms, but not kind service from Hotel Fita. I and my fiancee booked the placed based on the positive reviews from the hotel. We booked for a double room for one night last week. The seed of our problem was our late arrival at the airport. We didn't take the taxi as was recommended and took the trains... More
