This small hotel in the Jan Luijkenstraat is ideally situated for Schiphol airport, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, Van Gogh Museum and Concertgebouw, and runs parallel to the PC Hooftstraat, the most exclusive shopping street in Amsterdam. Bus 197 stops almost in front of Schiphol airport and will take you to the end of Jan Luijkenstraat in about half an hour for... More

Stayed for 2 nights over a weekend, the room was large and the bed very comfortable. This hotel is very conveniently placed and the Amsterdam tram service is a great way to get around. Breakfast was a little hit and miss and I did feel that the team were overwhelmed as the hotel was full and breakfast service busy although... More

I had the opportunity of staying at Fita Hotel with my daughter during Winter holiday season, and our experience was really above average. the hotel location is amazing, right beside all the greatest museums in the city, the room was comfortable, just renewed and spacious (although we had to share a double bed, even being requested separate beds upon reservation...).... Great location for museums. Paid a premium during a short visit for the location. Very friendly staff. Nice breakfast included. Nice rooms although, no hot water one morning - was told it hadn't happened before.

A small (20 bedroom) on a quiet, almost traffic-free street in a lovely area of Ansterdam. The hotel is run by a young, very helpful and professional team, who go out of their way to make guests welcome.Ideal position: 200m from Van Gogh and Stedelijk museums, and less than 5 minutes walk from Rijksmuseum and Concertgebouw concert hall. Close to... More

Location is ideal, but staff very young and inexperienced. Also, there is a youth hostel across the narrow street with youths taking drugs making noise from 1 AM to 2 AM every night on the street. Then in the morning, elementary school kids make noise at 8AM as school is also across street. But most annoying is the size of... More

The perfect location for the museums - just around around the corner from the museum area but a further walk away from areas such as the Red Light District and Anne Frank but there are several tram lines a minutes walk from the hotel, or you can just walk! Our room was lovely and clean, beds were comfy and outside... More

Really good location from the Museum area and transportation to other places in Amsterdam. The owners are really helpful and you even can skip museum lines buying tickets from the hotel reception. Rooms are quite good and comfortable. Do not forget to ask for their home made pancakes in the breakfast!

The room was spacious and comfortable. The residential location is away from busy streets but close to many amenities. There is a large park nearby. World renowned art galleries are a short walk away; high end shopping a block away. Meanwhile, the hustle and bustle of downtown Amsterdam and beyond is easily and quickly accessible by the extensive network of... More

We stopped over in Amsterdam for 3 days (all of them sunny!) and booked at Hotel Fita on the strength of online reviews. It is a comfortable, clean hotel with a warm feel, spacious rooms and very friendly and helpful staff. The location is fantastic, on a quieter street but a stone's throw from the Van Gogh and Rijks-museums, canal... More
