5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

Loved my 3 night stay here, starting with my greeting (too early to check in), and superb help from staff on how to get around and the major sights in Amsterdam. Couldn't have been more pleasant. Returning at 5 p.m my bag was in my room, and staff gave me the highlights of the room and hotel. Hotel Fita is... More

A convenient location, nice breakfast and a friendly oustanding staff. Reasonably priced and a location near the Van Gogh and Reij Museums on a pretty street. The hote staff was OUTSTANDING from the time of my first email requesting information to our checkout. I had a problem getting our boarding passes anf the owner stepped in, called the airline and... It was a very unplesant experience for me, a small room of around 10 sq mt on the semi-basement level. Literally, the floor in our room was below the street level. No air-conditioning, and inadequate sound-proofing of windows. The hotel has no real lobby, and the elevator is very small. No refrigerator or mini-bar either. To get into the hotel,... More

Stayed here 4 nights at the beginning of our European holiday. Many pluses. Friendly helpful staff who took a real interest in our welfare. Top location quiet yet handy for galleries and museums. Room quiet and comfortable. Standard breakfast but enhanced by Dutch pancakes and mums fruit preserve. However some opportunities for improvement. Coffee/tea supply in room should be refreshed... Lovely hotel with an elevator! The staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to please everyone. Breakfast was complete with eggs, pastries, meats, delicious coffee, and out-of-this-world crepes. Rooms are small, but that's typical Amsterdam and no problem if you're there for a week or less. The 3 major museums are super close, as are... More

Fita Hotel is a boutique hotel on a relatively quiet street populated with other boutique hotels and private residences just a block away from Museumplein, Amsterdam's cultural hearth. It's family owned and operated, and the owners are friendly, gracious, accommodating hosts. The rooms aren't particularly spacious, but they're comfortable and cozy. The private baths have most of the amenities you... More

Hard to beat the location of Fita, especially if you want to visit the major museums, three of which are within 5 minutes walk. The hotel is easily reached by bus 197 from the airport for 5 euros (get off at the Rijksmuseum stop), or by tram from the central station. The owner and staff were friendly and helpful. The... Hotel Fits is a gem. Pristine cleanliness, comfortable rooms, outstanding customer service and an excellent European breakfast with hot and cold foods. The made to order Swedish-style are ever so yummy. This is a family run business that shines in their service and friendliness. We truly felt like we had been long time friends. The location is absolutely perfect. It... More

Stayed at Hotel Fita for two nights and wished it was longer. Situated in a great location, near the museums and trendy shops, this family-owned and operated hotel offers personal service. We were treated like good friends. The room was small but the beds and down comforters were great. DO NOT miss their breakfasts which offer the best homemade pancakes.... More
