We stayed here for the weekend with my boyfriend the staff really friendly and helpful. Hotel is in a great location walking distance to the city. The room was clean but a little on the small side but it didn't bother us it was just base. All in all we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would come back... More

The hotel was clean and well located in walking distance to most of the Amsterdam attractions. The personell was friendly and helpful. Breakfast is not cheap but was ok. We had very nice days there. Thank you. .

This hotel offered us the weirdest room configuration we have ever seen. We had booked 1 room and had to take 2 single beds since that was the only available option. We should NOT have gone for that; when we arrived we were not given a room with two beds but instead 2 tiny single rooms with a connection door.... More

I stayed four nights on a business trip. Room was clean, staff friendly and helpful. It is not a fancy, upscale hotel. But it is a pleasant place to stay at a reasonable rate. I'll stay here again on my next trip to Amsterdam. The location is a short walk to the museum quarter.

The hotel is in a good location in the centre of Amsterdam, but quiet as away from the main roads. Rooms were small but adequate and were modern with good amenities. I particularly liked that the twin rooms had doors separating them for privacy. The staff were friendly. Overall for the price, no complaints. Only slight irritation was the noise... More

A lovely little hotel set on a canal within 5 minutes walking of the city centre. we have a large double room over looking the canal. Plenty of wardrobe space, small bathroom with shower. The lack of bath was made up by the copious amouts of hot water. Hotel was clean as was room Bed very comfortable but a little... More

We stayed for short visit to Amsterdam in early January. We booked the garden house and were impressed with the room size, privacy and general quality of the amenities for the price we paid. It was in an excellent location: close to the city centre and on a great canal in terms of travelling by foot to attractions. Our only... More

Really like this hotel. Had a large room on the front of the hotel with large sash windows which give a great view of the canal. It's nice and quiet, and close to a tram stop, so you're only a few minutes from town. And there's a really cosy pub at the end of the canal on the corner. Staff... More

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
