This canal house has been lovingly converted to a hotel. I booked Canal Room 9 and enjoyed my morning tea while looking at the canal action (ducks, boats, etc). The room was large by European standards and well lit - I counted eight windows and skylights. The bathroom has a stand up shower, large pedestal sink and toilet. The beams... More

We stayed at Seven Bridges for four nights last week, my first time in Amsterdam. The hotel is in an excellent location, easily accessible from the central station by tram and within walking distance of the main museums as well as many restaurants, bars and cafes. Despite the cold weather our room was warm and cosy and we enjoyed sitting... More

I stayed at the Seven Bridges for 4 nights recently. It was a very good choice and just right for my first visit to Amsterdam. The hotel is in an excellent location on a street of atmospheric old houses. My room overlooking the canal was full of light, clean and comfortable. It was a pleasure to eat breakfast looking out... What a fabulouse place, we stepped back in time to experience living in a canal house. The rooms are furnished with genuine antiques, the ceiling in our room had gold leaf in its decoration. Mind you if your looking for constant fuss you might not like this complete opposit, just charming hosts to greet you on arrival and to deal... More

This is a gem for anyone who wants the experience of living in a restored canal house. Wonderful hosts, three beautiful homes filled with their life's collection of antiques, on a quiet canal with a block's walk of trams, and five minutes of Rembrandtsplein, shops, and the flower market. The Christmas market was in full swing in the park, and... More

The Seven Bridges Hotel was a very comfortable, well-located, and reasonably priced (at least the small room we stayed in) base for our 3 day stay in Amsterdam – we were happy with it, and would definitely stay there again. The most outstanding aspects of Seven Bridges are the beautifully decorated rooms (in a historic canal house) and the great... More

I stayed in his hotel for 3 days at the end of December. the hotel was a short tram ride or 20 minute walk from the central station, located right in the Seven bridges area. The hotel quite small, but we had booked the large room, overlooking the garden. The room was stunning, with many antique items and plenty of... More

Fantastic value; great location, with kind and thoughtful staff and owners. I can't stress enough what a pleasure it was to stay there. It is in walking distance to museums, pedestrian shopping areas, and the botanical gardens, yet on a quiet street.

We found the Seven Bridges through the Trip Advisor reviews. The hotel is in an excellent location near Rembrandtsplein, one of the livelier areas in Amsterdam. There were also many restaurants nearby. The location was very good for walking to most of the major attractions in Amsterdam and within a couple of blocks of two tram lines. The reservation and room... More
