Like so many others, we loved the Seven Bridges Hotel. First of all the location is fantastic - it's quiet but yet so close to many areas within easy walking distance. The hotel is beautiful, small but our room (garden room #5) was huge with a little outside sitting area. We arrived after our overnight flight from Vancouver and happily... More

We stayed for three nights in early July 2014 and had a wonderful time despite quite a lot of rain. The hotel is not just very attractive but quirky with it. Very old, making excellent use of antique but immaculate furniture. And, yes, the stairs are narrow, particularly towards the rooms in the roof but we managed easily with our... More

This is a gem of a hotel within view of the 7 bridges. It is for people who want a place to stay which is unique. It is in a beautiful situation, close to everything but far enough away to be private. Our garden suite had a lovely view of the garden and was furnished with antiques. The management was... More

How to do justice to our 7 night stay at Seven Bridges? I am resorting to plagiarism. A Dijon couple wrote [google translation] in 2009 "It is undeniable that the quality and success of our stay is largely due to our accommodation". YES! Seven Bridges is a house, a lovingly restored and decorated very very old Amsterdam canal house. The... More

This is a magnificant, very special place. Definitely the most beuatiful place I have every stayed in. Located close to Rembrandt's Plain and yet very quiet. Rooms are very beautifully decorated, and very clean. Staff is wonderful - warm and extremely helpful. HIghly and warmly recommended.

This is possibly one of nicest hotels I have been in since I have been coming to Amsterdam. the staff are wonderful, the food is great and the rooms are so clean. It is situated not too far from the city centre but there are convenient trams to get about quickly if needed. Passengers had a really great time here...... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at the hotel in early June 2014 for 4 nights. We could not have been happier with the greeting we had from the lovely manager. He was so friendly and interested in what we wanted from our stay. He recommended lots of lovely places to go and kindly drew them out on a map. We... More

Just returned from our first, but not last visit, to the wonderful city. The Seven Bridges Hotel is situated in a quite district within a short walk of a wide variety of restaurants. Truly a 'diamond' of a hotel. Helmut could not have looked after us any better.

We stayed in the attic room overlooking the garden (#10) for 9 nights in June 2014. The room is small, cozy, clean, and quiet. The stairs are narrow and winding, but there is a sturdy handrail. My 74-year-old husband had no problem on the stairs and never used the handrail. The room has a TV, wiFi, and a lovely modern... More

This is a great small hotel in a very convenient location. It is in a quiet neighborhood but only two blocks from the chaos of Rembrandt Square. We took a tram whenever we had suitcases or needed to make a train or bus connection but often walked from Central back to the Hotel. Sure, the stairs are steep but the... More

Seven Bridges Hotel is a 300 year old charming canal house at the beautiful confluence of two canals in the historic heart of Amsterdam. Character and atmosphere are created by individually decorated stylish rooms: precious antiques from Baroque, Louis XVI, Empire, Biedermeier to Art Deco, from Sotheby's and Christie's; oriental carpets on wooden floors; handcrafted marquetry furniture - mirrors, tables, beds by a Dutch artisan.
