I stayed in the basement with my partner at the beginning of January, and although there was a little bit of confusion when we first arrived but when we got settled in it was the most enjoyable trip. Martin was so helpful and kind, the apartment was amazing and great for anyone looking for a proper DAM experience. Thank you... More

My friends recommended bed and net and the friend I was staying with had been the year before and I would certainly recommend to others and go again. Prices were very reasonable and the room that we stayed in 'the library' was small however for two lads who wanted to explore amsterdam it was perfect. It also has wifi and... More

I loved the Bed and Net. Homey, comfortable, great staff, close to everything. Not for those who like a cookie cutter hotel. This Guesthouse is a flashback to the '70s. Yummy small grocery store right next door with homemade salads, fruit dishes and bread. There's a bakery right across the street and YES, the Bed and Net is right on... More

Myself and 3 friends decided to stay here for my birthday celebration/mini break. It was my first time visiting Amsterdam (friends had been before) and this seemed to be perfect for us. we booked the basement and ground floor room. The basement was perfect for chilling after a long day sightseeing, comfy and cosy with a unimaginably large amount of... More

This place makes you feel like you a resident of Amsterdam. Nestled neatly in the interior of the city. I would recommend this place to anyone wishing to experience life in the city itself and not the touristy crap that hotels provide.

We stayed here for 4 nights in July whilst visiting for a music festival. Let me start by saying if you are the kind of person who likes to stay in top of the range hotels then this is probably not the place for you. However, at 45 euros a night for a twin room, we feel that it represents... More

I *love* this place. It's friendly, informal, comfortable, and they go out of their way to make you feel at home. DON'T expect the most modern, sleek, or corporate-hotel-style bathroom or furniture, but DO expect a fantastic location, great view, great internet, library of films on the computer in your room, shisha if you want one, a coffee-shop atmosphere downstairs,... Pros: On arrival the first thing we realised was how nice the owners were, due to having an early flight we were unable to get into our room immediately, that was fine because we were able to leave our bags until check in. Once we were able to get into the room, the first thing we noticed was the huge... More

Went with my SO, we got in before check in time soaking wet (it was raining and I got us lost) but despite this we were welcomed warmly. Great location and staff. Only drawback of note is the room we were in (the double) shares with the basement and one other, it was always clean but not always accessible.

Awesome guest house is as comfortable as a home away from home. I rented the upper level .... a very trippy room with a loft for the bed. Would I go back? YES YES YES. The staff were like characters out of a sitcom. Right next door to a little deli with all sorts of yummy food. Great location.

A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
