I have stayed at the Atlas a few times now. It is off the beaten path and is quite a walk from the old quarter. I like the proximity to the museums and away from the noisy touristy canal area. It is quiet and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is close to bus and tram stops... More

I stayed here for 6 nights. The hotel's in a great spot, right near all the museums and just walking distance from bus and tram stops as well as some really nice places to eat out. Vondelpark is also just right behind it. I chose not to have breakfast included and found cheaper options elsewhere. My room was a good... More

From the outside this authentic dutch building in an attractive area looks stunning. Unfortunately the only well cared for area is the lounge which I am sure is for photographs. We were in a twin room, the beds were only suitable for children. All communal areas need care, kitchen takes up loads of room but no-one cooks, breakfast is a... More

I stayed at the Hotel Atlas for a night 2 weeks ago. Its a really pretty hotel to look at. Staff is friendly and the owner helped us with directions and cab bookings and was very nice. Slightly expensive since they charged 35 euros for an extra person. Really small room. the best part is the location. there is a... More

The hotel is in an excellent location, quiet street close to the Vondelpark, near all the museums, and several tram stations. Rooms are small but clean and pleasant, staff is helpful, prices are moderate,

We stayed here for 4 nights while visiting our son. The hotel is in a very clean and convenient location close to the Vondelpark, with easy access to Leidseplein and the museum quarter. We used the hotel as a base for exploring the city on foot, so did not use the trams - but there seemed to be several stops... More

Booked this hotel last minute for a trip to Amsterdam. Had a great time. Room was clean everyday and was not noisy at night. Easy acess to trams to go to center. Near the museum and next to a supermarket for food.

We stayed at the Atlas for two nights, the location was very convenient to trams and shops. It was blocks away from the museum district. The room was fairly large, and the shower had great pressure. I only didn't rate it excellent because it was so hot in our 3rd floor room, and the windows didn't really open. There was... More

I just came back for a 3 night stay at the Atlas hotel. It was the first time I booked a hotel in Amsterdam outside the very centre of the city. Therefore I expected a little bit more quality, the cost of the hotel was also the same as it would be at the very centre of Amsterdam. Unfortunately that... More
