When booking this botel I was told that it was a 3 minute walk from central station. This isn't true you actually have to get a ferry across the water to the botel an this is the only way of getting there. once we realised this was the case it actually wasn't that bad ferry ride free and is only... Me and my girlfriend spent 3 nights at the hotel and it is absolutely great. The rooms are clean and staff are very friendly. There is a ferry from Amsterdam Centraal which is very frequent and there are local restaurants which you get discounts for if you are staying at the botel. Next time we go to the Amsterdam we... The Hotel is very nice. I had a dubble room so it was big enough for me. The bathroom is small but not as small as some people claim to be. I had a very nice stay the staff were very helpfull with any qeustions and the ferry ride to central station is about 15min.

We had a great time here. The rooms are small but they were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good and staff were pleasant. Make sure you keep an eye on the times for the ferry or you could be kept waiting in the cold. Weather was awful as lots of rain but once inside the hotel you couldn't notice it

Our first visit to this hotel, and my opinion is mixed. On the positive side, the room was clean and warm, the bed comfortable and the breakfast plentiful and varied. The downside: facilities in the room were basic, deposits being required for anything extra you might want, such as an iron or hairdryer, and the bathroom was very small and... More

This hotel was booked as a surprise gift so I can't complain too much. Read reviews before we arrived so had an idea of what to expect. Our booking form advise double/twin room, from that moment on I knew we would be given a twin. When we arrived I was correct, they apparently had no double rooms left. I know... More

The amstel botel is a basic boat hotel situated right next to the frequent ferry into Amsterdam centraal. The ferry is so easy to use, is frequent and free! The rooms are obviously small (it's a boat ffs) but who goes to Amsterdam to spend their holiday in their room?! They're clean so a thumbs up from me. Breakfast was... More
