i really enjoyed it here, the rooms were comfortable and warm, the breakfast was good and they replenish trays that go empty. We went back earlier on sat night and there was a good party like atmosphere in the bar. The only drawback to this hotel was the ferry service late at night,if you just happen to miss it you have to... More

We stayed at the botel for 3 nights 10/12/14 i thought it was perfect for what we wanted, very cheap, clean and warm. the room was nice, bedding changed at least once, bed made every day. the botel is just a short ferry trip from the central train station (out of station to harbour turn left, last ferry on left)... Stayed 3 nights in the Botel. Really good value - staff are friendly, rooms are clean and having a Russian submarine outside your window is a novelty. Bathroom is small but the huge double bed was really comfortable. Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold food with drinks. There is a small bar area with a pool table... More

Great hotel with a good location. The hotel is basic but has everything you need Comfortable bed and simple clean bathroom. There is a Tv on the wall which has multi national channels so you will be able to find a channel in your langauge. Location is about 10 minutes away from Central Station. The bar was reasonably priced and... More

Stayed there in November and arrived after a night on the ferry from northshields, you get what you pay for at this place and it's not in an ideal place, you have to get a ferry from behind train station which takes about 20 mins not ideal if you've got luggage, do yourself a favour and take a flight and... This place is ok, when we arrived we found we had a double bed instead of two single which was annoying straight away. The room and bathroom is very bog standard and the breakfast is pretty much the same. The boat taxi is atleast 15-20mins to get to where all the action is, dont let the travel agents tell you any... I stayed at this hotel in 2007. I booked it again, without realising that the botel had moved, and that it was now necessary to board a ferry to travel to and from the centre of Amsterdam. The only complaint I have is the lack of clarity in the booking confirmation as to which ferry was needed. Upon arrival late... More

Great experience staying on a boat and only 15 minutes by free ferry to Amsterdam central! Stayed in a double room with en-suite. Quiet, very clean and reception were helpful. Very good value. Would recommend staying here.

We went as a couple for our anniversary and thought it was wonderful. We had to take a free ferry from Amsterdam central which runs every 20 minutes or so. On a Friday and Saturday the ferry runs until 3 am. The breakfast was great, you can choose between continental or English breakfast ( no fried eggs though only boiled)... More

Stayed at the boatel Monday to Friday and was pleasantly suprised. Considering the low price was slightly nervy about the whole experience. It was nice that it was out the way from the main area.. I somehow felt safer being a group of girls and all. The ferry was free from central station and run every half hour it stopped... More
