Conveniently located for Leidse square. The room we stayed in was quite small but then it was only a place to sleep as we were out sightseeing all day. It was cleaned each day and the staff were all very friendly . The breakfast was continental style and sufficient for what we needed to start the day. There is a... More

If you know Amsterdam, you'll know this is one of the better hotels on offer for a very decent price. I've stayed here twice now and both times we were happy with our accommodation, clean and tidy facilities are basic, but you aren't paying Ritz prices people! Prinsen offers you a good location which is also quiet and a stones... More

I stayed with my partner at the hotel for a three night stay recently. I was shocked and disappointed by the room we had. It was very small (we couldn't pass each other without one having to sit on the bed!) and very outdated. The 'bathroom' wasn't your usual hotel bathroom. One basis shower and a toilet. The sink was... More

Great location - 2 minute walk from Leidesplein and the Vondelpark. The facilities are dated and the room we stayed in (first room on the right out the lift, 4th floor) was certainly not a pretty room. The room could have done with a few minor cosmetic repairs/update - including an extractor fan in the toilet. Our room also had... More

We were given room 44 which would hardly qualify as back packer accommodation and certainly would not qualify as 3 star hotel standard. There was hardly room to place our luggage and we had to keep climbing over it. My shower cubicle at home is larger than the bathroom. It was impractical to have the bathroom door closed while seated... More

This hotel is very close to everything you need. Trams restaurants and attractions like the anne frank museum, the van gogh museum, and boat tours. The streets are nice and quiet. The rooms are not big but not small either. It was enough to fit a family of four comfterably. There is a beautiful courtyard at the back and the... More

This hotel's location is excellent. 5 minutes walk fron many trams and buses which can take you anywhere in Amsterdam. 5 minutes walk from the cheap airport bus-so so convenient. The street is quiet and safe, during all hours. The staff was very helpful and nice. We got our room, even though we arrived early, and we were also able to... More

The hotel its clean, offers small rooms but enough for resting after you visited an entire day and your legs are hear-ting:). they have a lovely back garden with parrots who are fling free. Its close to everything, parks, transportation, bars, everything. The breakfast is basic, but good enough. The people on the reception are very nice and helpful. It will be my great pleasure... More

This is a lovely traditional Hotel so close to everything.. trams; buses; shops and food outlets. The room was clean and comfortable and the safe was free to use. The staff were lovely especially the evening staff. Nice simple breakfast and at least you could get a decent cup of tea there! Enjoyed our stay there last week.

Only 7 stops on the tram from the station and a very short walk to the hotel which is on the same street as the Marriott. Having caught an early flight we arrived at reception hoping to drop off our bags, however we were surprised when the gentleman on reception said our room was available and we could check in....
