Fabulous hospitality from the manager and all the staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Requested a quiet room in advance and was allocated one. Fresh flowers and cold drink upon arrival. If I visit Amsterdam again I would not hesitate to stay here.

Good and affordable accommodation if you're planning to be out sightseeing mostly. Friendly staff, rooms very small but nice to have wc in the room. Breakfast so so but gets you started. Close to tram so easy to get anywhere you want to go in the city. Very steep stairs so wouldn't recommend for people who aren't fit, but they... More

It was in a great central location, but I was on the third floor. The stairs so steep and so narrow, you needed a fair degree of nimbleness to have any safety at all. One way traffic the only way possible. I had booked a double even though travelling on my own, as I was expecting it to be on... More

The hotel and its staff were nice. Some of the other critiques are fair, the stairs are awfully steep, so if you don't do well with stairs, then this may not be the place for you, but there is staff to help you with your bags. Also the place is a bit old fashioned, but I thought this gave it... More

Great location and great hotel. Very typical of the old city. The manager/owner is so charming and helpful. Great service from the staff. I loved my room for 1 person at the rear of the building: no noise at all. Just church bells and bird tweets. Very well equipped room with everything you might need and more, and very clean.... If you love steep narrow stairs, dark narrow hallways and laughable decor of cheap old wood paneling and the smallest bathrooms ever, then this is the place for you. The only time I have ever seen so many steep narrow stairs was climbing the tower at Kilarney castle. This is especially so if you are lucky enough to get a... More

My partner and I spent 4 nights in the Nadia and thoroughly enjoyed the experience and would return there. Staff, and the owner were friendly, helpful and efficient. We had researched the hotel so we're not surprised by the steep, narrow staircase or the compact older style rooms. We were able to change rooms (my wife asked if it was... More

We were here for 2 nights Positives: Central location, near a canal (slightly away from station though). Low price. Some staff members are nice some not. Negatives: Hotel is not maintained well. There were ants in the room. Rooms are very small and need tidying-up. Breakfast care taker needs to be more polite and efficient. Breakfast will have only croissants,... More

This hotel is based in a really good part of Amsterdam, only a few minutes walk from the Dam Square and just around the corner from the Anne Frank House. Like many hotels in Amsterdam, the rooms are an exercise in squeezing as much stuff into a tiny space. But, I have been in smaller! The room had a lovely... More
