I accidentally found this hotel on my first visit to Amsterdam early 2000 and am so grateful for it! We were desperate to find a place with friends and were almost ready to give up. Then we decided "one last hotel" and the one we found was Nadia! How lucky were we?! :) The warm welcome truly impressed us and... More

The hotel is very central and in a fabulous location just 5 minutes walk from the main square and about 15 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station. We arrived with our son and daughter in law who stayed the weekend with us, leaving us to stay an extra two nights. My wife and I are in our 60’s and... More

When we turned up I was shocked brown door big sign BUT what a surprise. If if if you like quirky and unusual this is the hotel for you. Spotlessly clean, extremely friendly staff excellent location. Lovely hotel basic breakfast but they can't do enough for you.

If you are looking for a family style B&B near all of the sites and tour companies in Amsterdam the Nadia is for you. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable of the area. The hotel is across the street from the Ann Frank House ,the third stop for the Hop-on-off bus and a trolly runs every five minutes to the... More

Just back this morning from a 3 night stay. In room 416 right at the top with a corner balcony view on to the street overlooking the church (and queues for Ann Frank exhibition). Room is small and perfectly formed with a safe, fridge, tea/coffee, fan, the best hot and powerful shower, double bed, hair drier, towels; all very clean... More

I researched many hotels in Amsterdam for a mid-July stay for three twenty-something-year-old people and the Hotel Nadia seemed to be the best available for the price and location. I read reviews warning of many steep stairs and tiny rooms, but that wasn't a big deal. When we got to the hotel, a man came down the stairs yelling something... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Nadia hotel. Some people are adverse to the steep stairs but we found them novel and a reminder that we were staying in a heritage building in Amsterdam. Our room was spacious with a great view of the canals. There is noise from the tram and chiming church bells but we knew that going... More

Just back, great location, clean, staff and manager really nice and helpful, rooms are small but all you need we had a room with balcony which we used early morning and evening. Breakfast good too. Hotel is traditional Dutch Decor you'll either like it or not. Oh and yes the "Stairs" we just howled laughing every time we arrived at... More

Stayed there for one Night in june 2014. Great location in the center of amsterdam, and a room with view to the channel. The best breakfast of my hole vacation. The stairs are scary but the staff is well humoured and very helpfull. I would certainly stay there again.

Recommended for all travellers who wish to stay near the square as the hotel is 5 mins away from the heart of amsterdam. small rooms and only a stairway without lifts. Service was good, breakfast was excellent, as the ambiance was a typical dutch style.
