My husband and I stayed at the Nadia hotel for four nights. This hotel is located in an excellent area. It’s literally a five-minute walk from Dam Square, which is the center of the city. We arrived at the hotel around mid morning, and were very happy when they allowed us to check into our room right away. We were... more

The hotel is nicely located (10 minutes walk from Central Station), and is run by an Indian family that don't allow groups of more than 5 men, or solo travelers taking "companions" to the rooms. On the other hand, they'll let you smoke whatever you want inside the room (like my neighbors did). Definitely not a problem if you don't... more

A very friendly place to stay. Although the room was small (#7), it was clean, lots of light through an entire wall of windows, and with a nice view to the canal. No traffic noise. The hotel is not suitable for people with difficulties walking in stairs (you need to negotiate a very steep two floor staircase before reaching the... more

I don't know how much hotel rooms normally go for in Amsterdam for November weekends, but at £72 per night, this was the least good value for money of the three hotels I stayed at on this trip, which had included Paris and Bruges earlier on in the week. The room was tiny - just enough room for a bed... more

This is the second time that I have stayed at Hotel Nadia and on both occasions have enjoyed the relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All staff offer a warm welcome and are extremely helpful which makes visiting the City and its sites easy. more

We stayed here for five nights as part of a trip to the Low Countries. Other reviews, and the hotel itself, have stressed that this is not for "the elderly or disabled," and I want to stress that this is certainly is true. Our room (#204) was so small we could open the door only halfway before it ran into... more

The location is perfect because it's in the centrum, but not in the middle of all it's noises. Dam square is 3 min walking distance. In the neighbourhoud is Jordaan, were u can find lots of restaurants and a classy atmosphere. We were with a 6 month baby and we received a room with an extra bed, room no 6.... more

My boyfriend and I first arrived in Amsterdam to get hustled by a taxi scam. The bulletin board outside the central train station cites your taxi rights and approximate fare, but nevertheless, the drivers run the show and gave us no option less than triple what we should have paid for a 15 block drive with luggage. Frazzled by our... more

This hotel is brilliant and exceeds its rating of a 2 star, I cant beleive some of the bad reveiws as we couldnt have asked for more while we were there. Yes rooms were small, but what do you expect in an old building in dam, many hotels have small rooms, its kind of the norm. Even though they were... more
