It's the classic hotel that when you book it you beed to hope nothing goes wrong or you will be left dealing with it however for the prices they charge they can't really afford this sort of attitude. Unfortunately that didn't happen to me as: - I booked a superior double room and they tried to give me a basic... More

I have visited this hotel numerous time's under it's previous title, "terminus" hotel. Now under the guise of Tulip Inn, though you would never know it. Considering the Name is still scribed into the wall in reception, the phone's in the room, and almost everywhere else you look. I have visited this hotel many an occassion and found nothing wanting... More

This places is what is said on the tin! A short walk from the stations and a even shorter walk to all the bars. I would say great for big groups! Can get nosey of a night but the hotel is spread out well! Will stay here again on our next visit! Enjoy it

Stayed here for 2 nights. Ideal location as just a 5 minute walk from the train station. Quick check in and got room 36 which was just above street level. Room was clean and the only minus points were mould on the shower curtain and the hotel is close to a church and the bells go off every 15 minutes.... More

I have stayed at the hotel 3 times over the past four years. Great central location and everything within touching distance. Room 258 every time. I will be back in a few months no doubt! on my usual travels I stay at 5 star hotels, I have stayed at Victoria Plaza Amsterdam etc but it just doesn't cut being in... More

Hotel ok for what you pay. Perfect location for tourists but dont expect a good nights sleep. Single glazed windows onto main street and backed onto church which goes off every 15 mins not to mention workmen at 7am banging around in the streets. Apart from noise hotel is clean big and breakfast is fine though overpriced.

This hotel was a good location, rooms are tired. The church is right across from the hotel and the bells went off every 15 minutes. While staying in the hotel the cleaner asked if he could climb out the window to go on to the roof, in which we found a bit odd. But we let him do it. He... More

This hotel is ideally located. It is within walking distance from the train station with your cases. We arrived around 9.30pm and were greeted by a friendly chap on the desk who had up checked in within no time. We had three rooms, a single, twin and triple. The single and twin rooms were on the second floor, both clean... More

Easy to find and great central location where you can walk to everything. Rooms were basic but clean. Check in and out was very straight forward. What would have made it even better was the service at front desk as it was like we were being an inconvenience to them when we asked to check in.

So happy with family quad room in Amsterdam city centre. Close enough to walk from train station with suitcases. Bathroom clean and modern in old building - creaky wooden floors and exposed beams. Welcomed efficiently at desk, and by name without having to say anything! Straight away I was assured that after checkout at 12 we could leave our suitcases... More
