I visited this hotel with my partner and 6 friends The hotel was in a good location close to Leidesplein with good access to trams etc We were welcomed by the receptionist and checked in fine Stairs up to the rooms were VERY steep and were quite difficult to carry cases up. Turns out stairs everywhere in Amsterdam are steep!!... More

Stayed here for 2 days in room 26 on the ground floor....nothing bothered me in the hotel whatsoever as u know u get what u pay for so €128 for 2 people for 2 nights was brilliant. After reading some reviews I was going to cancel but I'm now glad I didn't . The staff were helpful and pleasant and... More

We booked the hotel before reading the reviews on tripadvisor, so were a little apprehensive with what we would find! The girl at the reception desk was very helpful, and explained everything we needed to know about our stay! The rooms, a triple and a double, were very clean and spacious, with even the single bed in the triple room... More

I stayed at this hotel 15/02/12-18/02/12. I cannot fault it at all. When me and my freinds arrived we were informed we had an upgrade to standard rooms at not extra charge. Great start! The room was also ready a lot earlier than expected and we were allowed to go straight up. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.... More

Amongst expensive addresses a cheap stay. Close to Vondelpark. I got a tiny room very high up (4th floor) which had definitely seen better times. Soft bed, dodgy cleaniness. Shower toilet in 1 tiny room: ok. If you look for a place to crash and money is your only concern it is ok. For more I doubt. They told me... More

Stayed 5th Jan - 8th Jan, Down a very quiet street-handy for everything-out on main you have the casino, pubs, hard rock cafe, blue boat bus and vondelpark all with in distance. Just a little walk to the muiesumplein-get a taxi to anne frank-I had blisters for days. Just up a bit on main you have all the pubs/clubs-Jimmy Woos... More

Hello jammiedodgerScotland Thanks for choosing the Quentin England hotel for your recent stay in Amsterdam. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay in our hotel, even thought the delicate sound of children from the nearby nursery might have not helped with your lie in. I am afraid some of our walls are rather thin; this is something we are looking into... More

Upon arrival..... sheer disappointment, even the shabby outside sign couldnt prepare us for what was ahead. However upon entry we were plesantly surprised with the rustique tables, wooden floors and general ambiance. We arrived a few hours before checking and so wanted to sore our suitcases. After being issued with the fence post key, my friend kindly took my suitase... More

It is really dufficult to find cheap hotel in Amsterdam. I was there in November and found only this one less than 80 Euros. My first impression was good, room is quite clean (not enough), but "OK" I wanted only to sleep there. Big surprise was breakfast. It's difficult to name it as breakfast because it's really small... Generally I... More

Stayed here for 2 nights at the beginning of December. We were upgraded to a better room on arrival. Room was very spacious. Hotel wad very close to Leidseplein and within walking distance of Vondel Park. Have stayed in this hotel before and would definately stay again. Much better value than the Quentin Hotel in the Leidseplein More
