I book this hotel through Expedia! Then I looked it up on trip adviser! I was slightly put oglff by all the negative comments! So I arrived at the hotel and was pleasantly surprised the staff were really friendly and helpful! I stayed in room 102 on the first floor! Room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was good! The... We stayed for five nights and this was our 3rd visit. The hotel is situated in a historic house, and that limits the changes that they are able to do to the fabric of the building. We stayed In room 106 which was on the 1st floor. Twin beds; perfectly comfortable; en suite bathroom with shower; sink and loo; and... More

We were put in a basement, in an extremely small room, a broken pedestal fan and the only ventilation was a small opening in the wall of the room which was at the same level as the footpath outside on the street. Will never stay again here

I try to avoid leaving bad reviews, because I'm a budget traveler and often make allowances for certain inconveniences. That being said, I feel obliged to let other travelers know that this was, bar none, the worst hotel experience I've ever had (and I travel a lot). The room was tiny and unclean (filthy carpet, stains on the wall), with... More

I had the misfortune to be booked in here through my employer. Myself and a colleague were stopping here purely for rest and relaxation before we embarked on a long drive across europe. I stayed in a basement room which im not joking measured 8ft X 5ft with a 2ft 6inch wide bed, no wardrobe, very small shower/toilet room and... More

First the good points. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel was in a good location for the Vondelpark and museums. However the good points ended there. My friend and I stayed for 3 nights and had 2 single rooms. My one was on the third floor. There were no lifts and the last flight of stairs... More

We visited Amsterdam on a short break for our silver wedding anniversary. We stayed for three nights and ipon arrival received a pleasant welcome from the staff. W ended up with room 407 which at first seemed to be a bad thing as I was suffering with a chest complaint but with plenty of landings and not too steep stairs... More

We stayed here 19th-22nd of May 2015, I knew the rooms were going to be small from reviews on here but it was clean, we had a broken shower head which got fixed straight away, breakfast is great value for money here, staff were very friendly and helpful. It's a budget hotel and it's somewhere to put your head down... More

This hotel is situated near Vondelpark that is worth visiting. Staff of Quentin hotel is hospitable. We were in quadraple room. The room is enough for 4 person, maybe just for sleeping. Beds near window are in outbuilding of plywood. In May it's not a problem, but I think it would be a problem in winter despite of central heating.... More

Having read some negative reviews I was pleasantly surprised buy the standard of this two star hotel. The staff on arrival were very helpful, the room was fine with a nice balcony area with table and chairs. It is a very close proximity to the centre and we would definitely stay at this hotel again
