The location of the hotel is just perfect. Only 7 minutes walk from the Rijksmuseum and very close to the tram station. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Our bed was so comfortable but we had problems with the heating. Thankfully, we had a small heater in the cupboard.

Despite of the very small room and a very tight breakfast saloon, this hotel worths the staying if you look for something with a low price. It is very very close to the main cultural addresses like Museums: Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh, the Modern Art Museum, the Concertgebow and other great scapes to fulfill the soul. Don't miss the parks around... More

Stayed for two nights in a chilly January in the hotel. Reception was modern, the staff were very helpful with all aspects of my booking - the bar was comfortable and friendly, my downstairs room was spacious , clean and comfortable , in fact my whole stay was very relaxing. I managed to get a late deal so the cost... More

We've had a deal of ~65EUR per night, including breakfast (5 nights). Our twin room was clean (although a bit small), very tidy with exit to the garden. The staff was very helpful, provining us AC adapters at need and recommendations for restaurants at will. Rich, tasty breakfast with very kind staff who also provided us directions to nice street... I booked this hotel very last minute, and luckily there was a sale on. I paid only USD 40 for a single room. This price is amazing for Amsterdam, especially when it's just 5 minutes walk to Vondelpark/Museumplein. Public transport was right in front of you, and it was so easy to get around. The room was simple, clean, and... More

I stayed at the hotel on my own for a couple of days over the weekend. The building was basically a very large converted house facing on to a narrow public park at the front. The receptionist who greeted me was not the most amiable or customer-friendly. I was given a room at the back of the hotel on the... More

If you're planning to visit the major art museums, this is a perfect location. It's practically around the block from Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. The hotel was spotless and comfortable. I would stay here again.
