This hotel is in a great location for everything you would go to Amsterdam for. The staff at reception were very helpful and did anything they can to make us comfortable. Couldn't complain about the rooms, the beds were very comfy. The only thing I could complain about was being on the side of the main road with the trams... More

The hotel is a total rip off for the amount you pay , rooms are extremely small , and very congested , not even tea/ kettle is provided , the TV is in non working condition only there for namesake , the bathrooms are dirty and water often leaks ! Not for a three star!!

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in September, hotel was very dated but that was not an issue. After the second night, both me and my room mate were covered in bites from what I can only presume are bed bugs. After further investigation and looked at past reviews I noticed that we're not the only ones to... More

When looking to book a hotel in Amsterdam there was defiantly plenty to choose from but was drawn to this hotel due to the location and the independent aspect. Hotel was 5 minutes walk from Vondelpark, 10 minutes from Museumplein, 2 minutes from a tram stop to centre, 10 minutes from Leidseplein square. Could have a good night without having... More

This is an ok if slightly disappointing hotel, although you probably get what you pay for. Room was clean and hotel staff at checkin were helpful / friendly. Negatives are that It's pretty noisy hotel, with very thin walls, and the general furniture state of hotel could do with a bit of a renew, especially the beds. Location is great... More

We stayed 2 nights for a city break. My wife and I both have disabilities so at booking ensured there was a lift. On arrival, the reception (one of the owners) made sure we had a room near the lift, no stairs to climb. The room had windows that allowed a cool breeze; clean, comfortable beds, big shower (no step),... More

Title sums up my stay here. The hotel is good value for money. The room was spacious and the beds comfy. The location was also very good, just opposite a tram stop. It is a little dated on the stairs/landings (very small lift) and the bathroom could have done with some modernisation, however, it provided a cosy place to sleep.... More

Location is great.near Leidsplein.close to trams.few meters from large supermarket.the elevator is tiny and very, very slow.it also gets stuck often and there is a sign about it but nobody seems to worry about it...or...fix it? The elevator stops in between floors.then there are steep stairs.and we needed(and got) help with our luggage. The room is small, but O.K. We needed help... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here for 2 nights during our interrailing trip. The hotel is a 10-12 minute tram ride on tram number 1 from centraal station making it pretty accessible and easy to get to. The hotel itself is quite small and outdated with a good refurbishing needed. The receptionist was although not rude not very friendly either... More

Very good and nice hotel, good location - close to the city centre, good connection with the airport (by bus), spacious and nice rooms, big bathroom, friendly and helpful staff, nice atmosphere... I reccomend it!
