Don't know how or who gives those stars and what they are based on, but a steady 3 star you can give this hotel easily. Staff was helpful and nice, they knew english fluently. Hotel itself looked nice, but the problem was that there's no aircon in the room, so IT IS HOT when outside is hot and also there... More

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. As soon as I walked into the hotel, I was impressed, it was small- chic- beautiful -boutique hotel. Lots of art which makes this hotel interesting. I took the superior room which was very comfortable and large enough. Excellent coffee in the room. The bathroom was clean. The location is just perfect!!... More

We stayed here after reading the reviews. We stayed in room 112. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was the most comfortable my husband and I have ever slept in when on holiday. Yes, the room is quite small but then we only used it for sleeping in! The bathroom was lovely and the rainfall shower big enough for... More

My wife and I spent 3 night in the Albus Hotel. This is a kind of boutique hotel. It is close to the most interesting places of Amsterdam, well decorated, the staff was very polite and very helpful (they printed out all our museum e-tickets as soon as we requested). The only negative point was the lack of air conditioned... More

We've stayed there three nights last week and it was a great experience The hotel is positioned great, right in the middle of the city, equal distance between all major attractions. Room is modern, comfortable, great TV set, the only thing missing (surprisingly) is the refrigerator. The breakfast was awesome, plenty of choices, the reception personnel kind and helpful. Really... I'd definitely recommend this hotel for a weekend in Amsterdam. Within walking distance of everything, tram stop very close by. Friendly staff. Trip advisor upgrade was a nice bonus. Bigger room and a small bottle of prosecco!

Very pleasant stay in Amsterdam. The hotel was very well located, very clean, and the staff were nice and smily. Nothing bad to say about it! We, though, can't say anything about the breakfasts, because we didn't have any. L'hôtel est très bien situé, très propre et le personnel est très souriant et sympathique. Rien de négatif à dire. Nous... More

Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights with my girlfriend in July 2012. We stayed in room 308 which was nice, clean, quiet and had modern décor. It also had a free nespresso machine which is handy for someone like me that drinks far too much coffee. The rooms were fairly small, but I felt that were sufficient for a... More

We enjoyed our stay very much. The staff was very nice and helpful. Room 605 was very comfortable and had a nice balcony. We heard people complain about bad smell and noise in their room, but the staff was attentive and offered them new rooms. There is no air conditioner in all the rooms of the hotel, so you should... 4 days at the Albus. We were a little perturbed when given a room on the basement level. However, the room was large with a king and single bed and ample space to move around. The nespreso machine in the room and marshmallows in the reception area were a nice touch. Carpet in the room, had a few stains and... More

This UNESCO World Heritage Site is as historically significant as it is perennially popular. Whether you’re a history buff, architecture enthusiast, shutterbug, or fashionista, odds are you’ll find the Amsterdam you're looking for while roaming around the Grachtengordel (Canal Ring). A brilliant place to get lost in a moody meander and a key component to any sightseeing trip to Amsterdam, this area's major draws include the Anne Frank House, the Bloemenmarkt floating flower market, an enviable assortment of independent boutiques along De Negen Straatjes, and of course all of Grachtengordel’s lovely canals and bridges.
