It is an excellent hotel for the price. The staff is extreamly helpfull, courteous and friendly. Cleaning staff supervision and same breakfast menu needs attention, that does not mean poor, but can be improved..Location is spot on. Higly recomended by all means, would definately stay again.Very Very Good Hotel.

Arrived at Amsterdam airport, went to the tourist information point within the airport and paid for a map 3 Euros. went to the ticket service desk (follow the signs) and we paid 4 Euros each to get the metro. We got the train to Amstel, follow the signs to the Casa 400 hotel and when you first arrive at the... More

On arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with very friendly reception staff. Okay the rooms are basic and a little dated(but what do you expect for 54 year old hotel) The main thing was it was clean and the chambermaids did this EVERY morning! The bar staff were very friendly, although bar prices were a little expensive, but the... More

If you need to spend not more than INR 15000 for a 3 night stay including Dinner & Bar (to some extent), this is the best place to stay. Very close to the Amstel station (5 min walking). Not in a great area (It's in front of a Police station) though. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Avoid using... More

We stayed at Hotel Casa 400 as part of a tour group and I wouldn't bother staying at the hotel until after their renovations which from memory should start or be completed in Spring next year. I generally don't mind if the room is very basic, and have put up with poor ventilation and even the occasional smell when the... More

We stayed over the weekend in hotel Casa400 because the roomrate was nice and we did not needed anything fancy. I have to say, the hotel + amenities are basic, the breakfast is a good overall continental breakfast, which is fine included in the price. Definately I can recommend staying here, because the staff go out of their way to... More

One of my worst experiences of hotels in Europe. Overpriced and overated as a 3 star, which it cerainly is not. Upsetting to arrive in a hotel after travelling so far and looking forward to some enjoyment in one of europe's top destination; Amsterdam. The whole hotel from reception to the 6the floor where we stayed was dreadfully in need... More

The hotel is very much like a film set , when you go behind the scene of the main stage , back stage is held together with string glue and four inch rusty nails! The beds were clean ,which after cycling 100 miles to get there was there only saving grace . Our room slept four ,we had an ensuite... More

A crowd of us stayed in this hotel when at a stag do in Amsterdam. It's a little bit outside Amsterdam Central but is fairly easy to get to via the Metro (station 5 mins away) or taxi (15 euros). The rooms are basic with 2 beds, a tv, fan and a bathroom with a shower. Beds were clean and... More

All the staff were very pleasant, the breakfast is good with a wide selection of meats, rolls and juices even the bar food is appropiate if your in a rush and need something warm to keep you going. Mind you the overall decor does seem like your in a russian KGB camp, very seventies looking and the rooms are very... More
