The Apollofirst was very clean and tidy, it was a little bit out of the way of the centre of Amsterdam but close to the tram line which runs regularly so this wasn't a problem. The area around the Apollofirst was quiet and tidy, the taxi driver told us that it was one of the posher areas of the city.... More

We spent a night at Apollofirst prior to boarding a Uniworld river boat. We arrived early after a Trans-Atlantic flight and the staff was very accommodating to get us checked in early, focusing on getting our groups rooms ready. The price was and quality is top shelf with a location close to the tram and abundant shopping and restaurants. We... More

Love the location, and has great shops and restaurants near by. The tram is only a 5 minute walk to the hotel. Room 22 on the first floor is like an apartment with lounge, dining table with chairs, couch and TV- great for two people. The staff are friendly. Great lounge for cocktails and the outside garden is very pretty.... More

- decent price/quality - great feel for athmosphere in lounge and breakfast - room: fair prices. - relatively small bed- room..... Very small and dated bathroom. - super clean. - you could ask for a room with king-bed and shower..... Regrettably they dont read that and do not show courtesy to communicate about this.... A mistake!!! Barely 4-star

Enjoyed our one night here. Staff at front desk warm , welcoming, and very helpful to tired Americans. Room was small but beds comfortable and nice bathroom amenities. Our room looked over a nice courtyard and the dining room was lovely. Fresh flowers throughout the hotel. Only 40 rooms. American and European breakfast was plentiful and they also had a... More

We stayed here 3 nights beginning of March. Our room had everything we needed and was clean with a view of the nice villas of Apollolaan. The staff was very accomodating and made us feel welcome. Breakfast was not included in our rate and at €16,50 per person we choose to have our breakfast elsewhere. The hotel is situated in... More

This is a nice boutique hotel in southern Amsterdam, very close to public transport. The design is classical chic. The rooms are stylishly designed and the beds are simply amazing. Staff is very friendly. We only had one small issue: we found a large piece of broken glass when opening the curtains in the morning. We reported it to reception... More

Fabulous size rooms in this unique hotel. Very clean and near to the trams for the Museum area and direct route to the central station. Very quiet tree lined area. Would I stay again, yes for the facilities but a a little far from town.

The Appollofirst hotel is a bit out of the city centre but it has a very nice bar area and the rooms are good. Beware of the very steep stairs with young and older guests but there is a tiny lift. The breakfast there are the best I have been offered in years without doubt. Not masses of cooked options,... More

The hotel itself is fine: though our room was quite small, it was cosy, comfortable and well equipped. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The best feature of the hotel however is its location. The museum quarter is on walking distance, and tram 24 and 5 go directly into the Center / to the Central Station in merely a few... More
