Me and a friend stayed at this hotel for three nights! We thought it was a good hotel, it was pretty basic but had everything you need, staff are friendly and helpful, food is ok and there is something for everyone, decent rooms and ours had a balcony, the beds were very comfortable and it was clean!! You get exactly... More

I have just returned from a two day trip to Amsterdam with my partner and this is the hotel that I was allocated through WOWCHER; nothing WOW about it. This hotel, should not be classed as a hotel, in fact, it should be closed down. I am sure there are far superior hostels in Amsterdam. We had enough time to... More

It was cheap! That is what i kept telling myself and others in our party. We booked this hotel as a cheap break away with some work friends, so it was only to be used as a base for exploring Amsterdam. We landed early and couldn't check in until 1400 which is nothing new and had no problem going for... More

What a tip, utter disappointment on arrival, rooms not sorted out staff had to move people about in order to get our 4 rooms, windows and doors didn't close properly, twin room had 2 beds crammed in with one hard up against the radiator, no bar as advertised, no shuttle to airport as advertised, had to find a member of... Overall the experience was okay, rooms were clean and basic but that was perfect for us. A group of us stayed in Amsterdam for 3 days, and it was very close to the tram line across the street which took you into the city in 15 minutes. Breakfast was average, wasn't a varied choice but again it served its purpose.... More

We are just back from Amsterdam and had a great time, apart from the Omega Hotel! Extremely run down, tiny bedrooms, mattress too big for the bed frame, heating pleases itself, breakfast is very basic and the bar doesn't even exist. In my opinion, this hotel should not be sold to good paying customers through travel agents, its a tip... More

On the whole a great little hotel in the budget price range. Perfectly located in a nice residential area behind the Concertgebouw and only about a 20 minute stroll to Dam Square and about 5 minutes to Vondelpark. We stayed 2 nights. Room is compact. Bed is comfy and plenty of hot water. The heating seems a bit random, sometimes... More

Staff were pleasent amd helpful. Room and hotel were basic and dated, but clean and sufficient. Decent clean powerful shower. Tram and bus stop at end of the street. Jump on the 170 or 172 bus from outside central station when you arrive and ask driver to tell you when your at Jacobstrasst (or something similar to that).

I guess that the "visitors" who wrote the reviews were not more than from other hotel's managments. I just got back from 5 days trip to amsterdam and I stayed at "omega hotel" with my cousin. First of all I want to say a big 'thank you' for George (I think he is the manager) who was so kind and... More

Takes twenty minutes Hotel very close to lots of main attractions and walk round vondelpark and you can reach places easily Hotel however is very poor for the area... More
